I already knew that. I was making a joke. Lower the price, raises the demand, lowers the supply, raises the mad employees that aren't getting paid

I knew you were joking around.

i think the wii u will not be less than $350. But i also think that the next xbox and playstation will be around $450.-$500. going by past history. If nintendo was going to be smart they should launch the console with a game or a second U controller like they did with the n64 later in its life. i think the controllers will cost about $60

I believe the Wii U will be $349.99. I dont think Nintendo will wanna make their system too cheap ($299.99) which means a less powerful system nor too expensive ($399.99) which means the sales wont be that great. I really think the sweet spot is $349.99.

I read an article from Mynintendonews.com that changed my mind about the price I picked. I'm going to say instead of $400, $350-$400. Yup. Changed just the range of the price. The article mentioned Nintendo not wanting to repeat the 3DS launch, they mentioned the price of the 3DS being to high, so that got thinking the Wii U won't cost too much when it comes out...

I cannot see beyond $299, and most likely it will be $249, with a Wii Sport type game(i.e simple but fun games- doesn't have to be sport) to show off the the capabilities of the new controller. If it costs more than $300 then they better have some ingenious uses for the controller otherwise it will be a very hard sell.

Nintendo usually like their prices cheap.

Back in E3 2001 when they announced the Gamecube, they said for it to be affordable.

They dropped the price of the Wii.... twice.

The 3DS got a price drop in a few months.

So, we may have a chance of it being a fair price. But since its HD, and that controller... Probably pretty expensive.

It depends on what they reveal it to have under the hood so to speak, if it is not powerful by much (in comparison to PS3 and Xbox 360) I would expect between £225 and £250...I feel they have to be competitive and lure 360 and PS3 fans away if the rumours are true and both Sony and Microsoft are looking towards the next generation.

It was a problem which SEGA had trouble with for the Dreamcast, while it was competitively priced, people opted to wait for the PS2,

if you saw the "leaked hardware specs" and if you believe them then some people who say they understand comp specs to an expert level claim that nintendo have cleverly increased power dramatically yet kept price decently low. sounds awesome to me and fitting with nintendo's reputation :D i predict a price of 250-350 pounds.

I think that it would be between $300-500 because we dont know enough about the counsle to acreatly predict the price and the economys being unstable and everything there wouldnt really be a wasy to get a good answer. I do know that the counsle would be at least $250 because that was the wii's price and I also know that it wont be more than $500 because of the 3DS launch failure.

The CPU/GPU will be dirt cheap. Even at the high end of the potential specs they won't cost more than $30 each. 4GB of laptop DDR3 ram is $20-ok that isn't the world's best ram but it's about 4 times more than will be in the Wii U. That's $80. The controller cost is hard to judge but I don't see it been over $100- the iPad screen was judged to have cost less than $100 18 months ago and the Wii U will have a far smaller one and isn't as high quality. That's leaves $70 everything else which is easily achievable.

I used an online convert and got: $391.3750- $547.9250, kind of weird numbers.
