It is insane that the person who wrote that article is stupid enough to believe that we are going to believe what he says! That is way to high, and out of the ballpark that Nintendo will want the device anyway! And also, preorders arent even available in the states, so what country are they up in?

Well... I mean it won't be super expensive, but I don't think we can really expect it to be cheaper than the Wii, I'm hoping $450 and that's probably what it'll be around.It should not cost that much.

Lol, chill, it's a place holder.
When I preordered my 3DS it was priced at 9999 NOK which is like 1800 USD. The price was changed to 2300 NOK when Nintendo announced the retail prices on the 19th of January
So nothing to worry about here. It is a Nintendo console after all.

Its not gonna cost that much. That wouldn't be wise of Nintendo, at all. Considering thats why the Wii sold really good was because of the cheap price.

According to AU EB Games website, the Wii U is $598 AUD. I seriously doubt that's what the actual price will be. They did the same with the 3DS, they priced it at $400 AUD before it was announced as $350 AUD.

I wouldn't pay any price over $500. That's the most I'd be willing to pay for it... well, unless I get consumed with hype, badly wanting it so much.

EB games never lists the price right. It originally said the 3DS would cost $350.
