Unless this article is incorrect (or trolling), Watch_Dogs is already getting a movie.

Details are that the movie is being developed in co-operation with Sony, Columbia Pictures, and New Regency.

 

 

I really hope this is true, it could make an awesome movie.

This may be too risky. The game isn't even out yet and no one really knows how well it will perform. They're basically trying to milk the franchise from the very beginning...

The thing is, after they make Watch_Dogs (the game), how are they gonna make a sequel to it that's not just the same game with a slightly different storyline?

 

Add more hacks? Different main character? Different map? Nothing I can think of that they could add to a Watch_Dogs 2 game seems substantial enough to warrant a new game.

 

 

 

Then again, Call Of Duty does it every year without changing anything.

Even if this is true it will probably be a failure. The majority of video game adaptations have been failures.
