I still don't know why. But I'm beginning to wonder if it was all planned and she's not going off the deep end like Justin Beiber (who is NOT Canadian) did. I honestly don't know what she was like before the VMAs. But it seems every child/teen star I know have has gone crazy due to the fame, and if this is intention then that means she knows what should be happening to her and she might work to keep her sanity.

Miley Cyrus is smart.  Debate her VMA performance all you want, but she knows this business better than any of us.  Think about it.  People are STILL talking about her VMA performance more than they are talking about any of the others, including that NSYNC reunion.  It might not be the best VMA performance ever (which is always debatable), but it at least gained her some publicity and she probably sold more records as a result.  Call her stupid, a tangerine, a whore all you want - but by the end of the day, she's the one crying all the way to the bank.
