Of course it's getting 9/10s, 10/10s.

It's another overhyped "AAA" title from Rockstar that changes very little from GTA4. Although you'll never see any review from a gaming "journalism" website stating this.

It's overhyped, but it's overhyped for a reason. It's one of the biggest open world games, ever. And they've brought in a lot of changes since GTA4.

You know your jelly of it.  ;)

I have no idea how they got this game to run on such old tech!
The game plays very well. I installed the second disc to a USB stick and have not noticed any pop in at all.(Xbox).

Actually, there're quite a few other open-world games that cover a lot larger space than GTAV.

And by "a lot of changes" I assume you mean "now you have two different bald guys to chose from" and "better hookers"

Gotta agree with 3Dude there. Certainly looks like a good game, but it's simply terrible. I'm fine with shooters, some suggestive themes, and some language, but this is too much. Way too much.

Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

In all seriousness, GTA is a good franchise, but Rockstar probably influenced these reviews.

It is.

That would be

gta4: 7 miles squared
gta sa: 14 miles squared
red dead: 28 miles squared

equals 49 square miles.

Well, actually, gta 4 is only 6.8 square miles...

so 48.8 square miles for all three. Its bigger by 0.2 square miles.

Just cause 2 was 400 square miles.

Daggerfall was 320,000 square miles.

That's still a HUGE world.

But thanks for making it seem like nothing compared to those other games. :P

Oi, firgot about that one!

21 square miles. Whoops, sorry km, not miles. So its only 8 square miles.

So thanks to most of rockstars ps360 games being half the size or less than one of their ps2 games, gtav is indeed still bigger than rockstars last 3 releases combined.

I really digging this game but I've noticed not many people here like gta and if you didn't like past gta's this one is poised to disappoint. I think the game accomplishes to make its world feel never ending and wacky but never losing its sense of realism. The visuals are great and dialigue is great. Well I'm just a fan of the series and I think this one is the best of the series well 13 hours in and that's my feeling(might change idk)

I have the same problem! I have bought almost every gta game that came out yet never finished one of them. After playing around 6 hrs of 5 I really think this might be the first gta game I actually finish, the story is much more interesting and the mission structure is much better than previous gta games.

Sadly ain't gona bother at least till I find it real cheap in the bargin bin. Just been to disappointed with my past gta's plus already paid off watchdogs for the u. I had more fun in 4 driving around and purposly ejecting myself out the window, get up repeat lol. So I rather give ubi a chance to shake up the formula.

Im curious to hear why are people put off by how "bad" it is? I know 3Dude said he is whipped :P but I dont really see why hookers, swearing and violence put people off this game. All those things exist in real life anyway.

Obviously if you have any young children then that is self explanatory.
