Of course I know that and please do not derail the thread, this is about the hardware and technological aspects since some people say Wii U is not "next gen" because of hardware and this thread shows that it is next generation so it is next generation in a term since it is successor to Wii and is hardware wise compared to previous/7th generation consoles. There are still people out there saying that and at least I can do is spread the knowledge...

The max consumption of the console is not 40 watts. Those tests done by 'gamz girnolistz' were done with low grade, radio shack, crap brand watt testers, which werent even calibrated.

Recent tests were conducted with professional products, properly calibrated, and show the system does indeed flux when playing games, and that the 'gamz girnolitz' tests were off at times by as much as 10 watts.

Also how is it practically exact same information? It has information from this thread it also has a lot more information's and discoveries and claiming that it has practically exact same information is invalid? Was there calculation of GPU's power consumption? Was there comparison of Xbox 360 Xenon and Wii U Espresso CPU? Were informations involving bandwidth of DDR3 RAM and eDRAM in the previous thread I made? Were there comparison of latency between GDDR3 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to DDR3 in the WIi U? Pipeline, cache and execution units comparison between Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3? No? Then how is it practically exact same informations with that much detail in previous thread that I made? Was there anything, even a tiny bit of information involving these things? No? Then you now know that you failed... Learn to see difference between, read, read for once...

Eye_Of-Core - I know this stuff kind of sucks from our standpoint but you also have to look at it from theirs. 3Dude is a staff member, at least sort of, and they have the job of keeping the forum clean and merging threads whenever possible. Yours appears to have been merged because you had two specs threads on the same page. The best thing to do is probably just to bear with it and if you see your threads constantly getting merged, well, maybe take it as a hint you should post in the same thread next time.

Threads become inactive if you either abandon them yourself or if there is nothing more to discuss/contribute.  There is no reason to make an "updated thread", discarding all previous information in another thread.

Don't worry about me. I am kind of the unloved village idiot around here, especially in the hardware section. 8)

I am just saying you don't need to go into full-on Tasmanian Devil attack mode with name calling and accusations of not being able to read... to a respected member of the board.

This is a Wii U message board, kind of low in the totem of world problems.

Do you seriously think anyone ANYONE, doesnt inherently already know why you tried to start a new thread? How big do you think this forum is? What, you think the people who 'derailed' your thread wouldnt notice you attention spamming the same exact subject in a new thread? You think they would just magically have different opinions since it was a 'clean' thread?

IT DOESNT MATTER. You dont do crap like that. Its in the rules, read them, follow them.

The next damn post better be on topic. If you want to complain about me enforcing the rules, do it someplace appropriate, like on the site feedback board.
