Nintendo has been investing in some mobile company(ies)...... Not exactly sure what their purpose or strategy is.  IMO they should release some Nintendo themed games that go well with mobile- more designed to create/maintain awareness and even draw traffic to their Web site.  Do something like Rayman Challenges, but on your phone/tablet with Mario, Donkey Kong, etc.

 

 

People say that mobile gaming is a big threat to the industry, but when I got my iPhone I did play it for a few days, I played it constantly. Then I realised how I could be playing much better games on my consoles. And I stopped playing mobile games. People that think mobile gaming is equivalent or better than console gaming obviously haven't played console games before..

They could do a good endless running sidescroller with a Mario theme. IMO endless runners are the only games that control well on a mobile.

Or make some sort of Angry Birds variation..... you can't have a patent on a slingshot game, can you?

If you could there would be no angry birds.

Nintendo created the touch screen physics slingshot for their minigames for mario 64x4 for the ds launch looooooooooonnnnggg before angry birds.
