How will be the story on the new Smash? Are they going to have a special look on the single player again? I hope so, Subspace Emissary is delicious.

And a Ranking System is a great idea! It would increase the Homerun Contest replay a lot.

 

There are any chances of they make the online system based in "rooms"? Something like in League of Legends or Kaillera, where the player creates the room and just wait the other player to enter. Like Mario Kart 7 Communities, but it would be global. I think it would help with the time waiting in search for other players problem of Brawl..

Can't wait for this game, the GameCube game was awesome I missed the N64 Smash Bros and Brawl on Wii cos' those were the only Nintendo consoles I never owned. Now I've got a Wii U ima buy Brawl and the new Wii U one at some point I hope the N64 Smash comes to Virtual Console on Wii U too.

We don't really know much about it. No concrete details about the actual gameplay have been released. We DO know that Sakurai wnts to make the 3DS version a more single player experience, while the Wii U version will be a traditional smash game, so I'm guessing the 3DS one will have a superb storyline. We'll get more info in 17 days xD

I'm pretty anxious to see what gameplay changes they have in store for the next game. As for characters, I really only want Mewtwo to return. Anyone else getting in is icing on the cake.

Viridi would be nice, though there's a small chance of that happening...

Poor Waluigi isn't really relevant to the Mario series, though.

 

Even Daisy and Birdo have appeared in more canon games than him (that is, any at all). Regardless, I feel bad for the guy. When they excluded him from Mario Kart 7, I did get a bit ticked off about that.

 

Still there's a huge line-up of Mario games that would make it into the SSB series as playable first, like Bowser Jr. (unfortunately) and Toad.

 

Anyway, here's who I want to see the most:

 

Playable newcomers:

 

Isaac/Matthew (Golden Sun)

Chrom (Fire Emblem)

Paper Mario (Paper Mario, obviously)

 

Returning (Melee) Characters:

 

Mewtwo (Pokemon)

Roy (Fire Emblem)

 

Alternate Costumes:

 

Leaf for Pokemon Trainer (Pokemon)

 

I have another, but it's kind of a spoiler, but it's regarding Fire Emblem for those of you who can piece it together from that.

 

That's not to say that's all who I think should make it. It's just the characters I really want to see personally.

A friend of mine (who made a previous poll that reached 2000 votes before, but had twenty-five characters) has created a new poll that consists of virtually every character someone wants to see. The poll has not only characters, but also stages, Assist Trophies and bosses available as well. First part is characters, the second part is stage and finally Assist Trophies and bosses.

 

Make sure to vote for who you want and not who you expect. This is a want poll, not an likelihood poll. You also only get one chance to vote, so vote wisely.

I am really crossing my fingers for a Mega Man confirmation at E3 this year. Mega Man is my most wanted character and my favorite video game character, so I'm really hoping Sakurai gets him in. Not sure if he'll be at E3 due to there being a decent chance of another third-party getting in, but I'd say he has a good shot of making it mainly due to his iconic status and his massive popularity.

As for characters I expect at E3, those would be Ridley, Palutena, Takamaru and Little Mac, although the only character I want that I could see at E3 is Mega Man (anyone else will probably be either a DOJO reveal or an unlockable).

But even with that being said, above all other Mario characters, Waluigi was one amongst only three total to become an assist trophy, and actually be hacked into playable form within the game during a long, thought out process including many hard working fans. If anything, I think Waluigi has one of the highest chances of becoming a playable character in the next Smash Bros. But definitely second to Bowser Jr., as his popularity has definitely escalated with the help of his numerous appearances in recent Super Mario titles. 

 

Characters that I would like to see join the fray, would have to be... well... let me categorize it a bit;

 

Pokemon Series:

Zoroark (A popular Pokemon introduced in the most recent generation. An easy replacement for Lucario, just as Lucario replaced Mewtwo)

Pokemon Trainer (With different starter Pokemon, of course. Possibly using 2nd to 6th generation starters. That is, if the full evolutions to the 6th generation starters are revealed during development)

 

StarFox Series:

Krystal (Easy way to shovel in another female character in the male-dominated series of Smash Bros. Also a potential trigger to some more recognition for a somewhat dying franchise) 

 

Super Mario Series:

Bowser Jr. (Clearly a popular enough character to earn a spot in the next Smash Bros. installment. Also carries a lot of potential for an interesting moveset)

Waluigi (Same reason as above, though his current listing as a "spin-off character" hinders this possibility quite a bit)

 

Donkey Kong Series

Dixie Kong (Definitely would make for an awesome entry in the DK series of Smash Bros. And if anything, would definitely be the next character added to the DK division. At least... I think so)

 

Can't really think of any other characters that I would like to see make it into the next Smash Bros. as I'm tired of thinking... and typing.

SSB4 is definitely a selling point for the Wii U my thing is I dont want it next year I want it ASAP!

The MegaMan SSB4 Thread (from Smashboards) listed alot of good reasons as to why he should n could be playable. If we get a capcom representative, it should be Mega Man.

I'm very curious about the Ganondorf's design. Or even if he will be in the game... I don't think he would be out, but I don't wanna see Twilight Princess Ganondorf again. I would be happier if they put Ocarina Ganondorf again (since Ocarina 3D is a recent game). Are there any chances of get Ganondorf out and put Demise or Ghirahim?
