If the online system is great, so will be the names.

I do like that U-sername... it shows how unimportant the name for this really is. I like it. Although if you wanna get creative you could go... U-net ID, or Nintendo User, or GameUser , or .......hmmmmm.... Nintendo Player... i think Player should be in there somewhere, reminds me of smashbros.. And i guess they shouldnt use a U in it, then it'd restrict it to WiiU, we wouldn't want that now would we. OH I GOT IT!!!! ClubNintendo ID... heh heh finally they will combine all of nintendo into one world dominating force ... MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!

For those who aren't informed, Friend Codes will no longer exist for the Wii U.
The Wii U will NOT have individual accounts per console, but rather through Nintendo Network.

I love the word play on U-sername, so I chose that. But I think Nintendo ID would be more efficient, even more so if the Wii U's name is changed.

Nintendo ID is too similar to PSN ID. Network Name and Mii Tag sound pretty good to me.

What I'd like is to see Nintendo giving us a good online experience rather than worrying about what to call the username section.
