Aaaaand here's what I did with that growl.

Lol I was expecting a little longer, but it's pretty nice. I'm too lazy to learn modulation and such for growls and talking basses. I prefer the straight forwardness of progressive house

You should really consider getting a full version of FLS though. You have a lot of potential, but the demo version is holding you back a little lol. The beta for FLS 12 is out so I'm sure that version will appear in a year or so. You should look into saving for it. XD

Yeah... I really wish producing wasn't so expensive. Like, I'd need to pay around $300 for FL itself, another $200 for Massive (or the same for Serum (or both :L)), and then I'd want some sample packs and such... It's way too expensive, but I do intend to purchase all that stuff at some point. I guess I've just been a little leary of buying anything since I'm still not that good.

 

But yeah. The next time FL goes on sale, I'll probably buy it. Image line is still doing free lifetime updates, right?

Btw, sample packs isn't needed to buy, there are tons of freeware that is really good. Deficio pack, which you already have is really good.

 

And as you said, Image-Line is still doing life time upgrades so you can buy FL whenever you want.

I am looking for honest feedback. Like how does this compare to other electro tracks and my other songs (I try to make something better than Invaders which many tell me is my best song).

 

My friend told me it's a little bit bland/boring. I can't tell if it's true since I've put 23 hours of constant editing on this song which makes me unable to know if it's good or not.

 

I am trying to set a little higher standard on my tracks from now.

It's really good. Like really good. It stands up to a lot of other electro tracks I think. A lot of electro focuses on the bass during the drop, but I really love how this one doesn't emphasize that. I don't really see it as bland. It has high energy and a good balance on frequencies. For 23 hours, this is awesome!

Sounds really great! I like the variations in the different parts of the song. I feel like it could be more interesting in some spots, but it's definitely not bland.

Just send it to a label when you have mixed as well as you can and they will master it for you. If it's a serious label that is.
