Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

Why? To keep Link's lack of a voice canon

Yeah they used to do that in older games, most it would just play a tune and in Zelda 1 it had a second guest. I can't remember the older ones, but they haven't done the Zelda name Easter egg recently :/I name him Link, the first time i played a Zelda game it asked me to name the save file, i didnt know that it was going to call Link by that name so i put Superflyguy. Because i had played SSBM before ever playing a Zelda it bothered me that the game wasnt calling him Link, i had to restart a few hours in. Ever since i named him Link but, id like to try other names for the next Zelda. Turn it into a madlibs type experience. Also i heard there is an eastereg (in most LoZ games) where if you name your character Zelda it plays a short song and asks you to name your file (again). Anyone know about this?
