Pre ordered the deluxe and NSMBU, but I also plan on pre ordering the following.

Skylanders Giants
Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed
Epic Mickey 2
Scribblenauts Unlimited
Rayman Legends
Pro Controller
eShop credit ( not technically a pre order though)

might get even more if I have the cash, like Rabbids Land, a Wii Remote Plus, more Pro Controllers etc.


I've been on the hype train since E3 2011, but it's been slow. Since last week it's been at a breakneck pace, but the week before launch will be racing fast, launch night breaks the sound barrier.

Pre ordered the 32gb but I do have a major concern the console has a kind of blu ray drive but dosent play any kind of media is that right christ thats a glaring omission if you ask me think nintendo might of dropped the ball there :-/

Why would you think that. They did nothing of the sort. Apart from the fact that most if not all out there already have a device that plays DVD's and/or bluerays so there is no need for another one. Besides if they included such playback they would have to pay a licensing fee for every console they sold which they would have past on to the consumer. I for one have no desire to pay extra for a feature I will never use.

As for pre-ordering I've pre-ordered the limited edition black Zombie U edition here in the UK. I've not pre-ordered any games yet but will probably do so at some point. I'm probably going to also get New Super Mario Bros. U, Rayman Legends and if available at launch maybe Disney's Epic Mickey 2. The Zombie U edition already comes with that game as well as a pro controller.

I always do with a nintendo console. As a gamer (a casual one mind) im 33 now but getting the new nintendo console is something i will always do and always will, you cant beat the unboxing with a mate and both going wow at the same time at a gaming memory like "wii sports on wii or mario galaxy, or rouge squadran or need for speed underground on gamecube, or zelda oct or starfox on n64, or super mario world or f zero on snes anyway i cant wait to do the whole unboxing thing with a friend n a few beers

I pre-ordered one a six/seven months ago but then i cancelled, but when it was announced last month, i re-ordered it, i now have the Premium Wii U on order, with Zombi U, New Super Mario Bros U & Nintendo Land

Anyone gonna be camping for the Wii U then?
Also, I would suggest to anyone carrying it home, especially in the rain and don't want to get the box wet, take a couple of black bin bags with you, to cover it up, especially as you could be prone to getting mugged if you're taking the bus or something.
I'll be taking a taxi home as soon as I get mine, as there's taxi ranks right by the shop.
