I think it sucks that so far we only get standard versions of games on the Wii U. I hope there is a special edition version for this game.

thats not true, i have the Join or Die AC 3 edition, actually it is available for the wii u version, i dont know about Aliens, but the collector edition it is know to be for the other consoles at the moment, mb we will get something for the wii u i dont know



Edit: in my country aliens will have atleast a limited edition for the wii u (not the big one i think), it includes several famous characters skins for the game (Apone, Hicks, Hudson, Drake... and more), Ripleys Flamethrower from the movies, and Extra character customization for the multiplayer.

WOOWWW and it will be 10€ cheaper than the 360 and ps3 versions, that plus if its really superior technically = best version of a game ever.

I sure didn't see it available in the U.S., In fact that ad you posted doesn't even indicate it is available for the Wii U?

I read that.....again as far as I have been able to see it isn't available in the U.S. only the U.K. and Australia

Yep, but I'm starting to shy away from them, it's a huge waste of money IMO, you get a big waste of space, a book you'll skip through instantly and some weird memorabilia that has no purpose.

GameStop's site says it comes out 12/31/2013 for Wii U. This can't be right?

It also says that it comes out 2/12/2013 for the 360 and PS3. Not sure what's going on. But if I have to wait for the Wii U version I might as well just buy the game for Xbox. -____-

At the moment its set for a day and date release along with the other versions on February 12th. Of course it could change between now and then.

Have we actually seen any actual WIIU footage of this game yet? seen loads of trailers clips etc, but wants to see actual wiiu gameplay footage, its meant to be the best version after all, or something like that?

Gamestop is famous for messing up their release dates. It happens so often it actually gets kind of rediculous really.

We've seen snippets, nothing long enough for a comparison though, and no gameplay that shows the gamepad integration, so we'll have to wait a little longer for that. plus graphics are often improved at the final stages of development so it wouldn't make a difference if we had seen it already

I've only seen the Wii U trailer - it looks badass - I don't think we have anything to worry about with the Wii U version
