Honest question for MLP fans on this forum. Did you ever see the 80's show or is the brony thing strictly for the modern show?

 

Fort the record I never saw it but did see Strawberry Shortcake in daycare in the 80s. I'm not proud of it.

 

Yeah, like Tom said, it's basically just the new gen show. As for the community being toxic, I haven't really witnessed that myself but I'm sure they can be, as with any community.

What Tom said. The previous generations were a bit. um...

 

But the community, while really toxic, and very minecraft-esque now, geuinely used to be really great at one point. I know that sounds like I'm just being a nostalgic hipster, but i'm really not. It used to have a really different feel back in the day, and there used to be a lot more great content. The place the community has probably died most is in music. All our best artists are now on the fast track to become pretty big artists, but most of them don't really make music about the show anymore :/

Surprisingly enough it's comparative to Nintendo. Everyone's caught up in the hype over the other two competitors that they forget that Blackberry/Nintendo is still the best too for their respective jobs. Nothing exists that competes with Hub, and I will never leave the OS.

I wouldn't say that with such certainty until you've owed a blackberry horse. I personally don't have a blackberry (I don't have any smartphone) but they have been making smartphones for the longest time, so it wouldn't surprise me if they actually made the best out there and were just overlooked. Happens to a lot of great companies. People are much more concerned about following the crowd than really exploring their options and finding what works best for them.

hehe. There are more marvel figures coming out in a couple months and i think a few more originals too. I got some good power discs but didn't take a picture of those. Have to go through all my duplicates and either trade em for ones i don't have or sell em.

Hub is unique to Blackberry. It puts all messages (be it sms, call history, email, Facebook, BBM, etc) into one central location where you can always keep on top of things or search your history.

 

And it IS like Nintendo, with the only difference being that Nintendo is all play and Blackberry is all work. They both don't carry all of the software that people consider to be the rainbow, yet they have the best experience and software hands down. And people don't realize this because they are taken in by big budget marketing campaigns.

woah, that sucks. it could be on it's way though, not all sellers send tracking info and it if is sent by the USPS, it doesn't really show any tracking status until it's delivered.
