I hope Assassin's Creed and Black Ops 2 come to eshop in day one. And, wow, Tekken takes half of the memory of the deluxe package

I have a 1tb hard drive so this doesn't phase me at all but I hope we can do background downloads.

Dang! 16.7 GB!

That's more storage then the basic unit provides <_<

I'll invest into a external hard drive.

Remember wii u is only usb 2.0 and there won't be much loading differences between the optical drive and an external hard drive. The ps3 and 360 have a fast sata connection which makes downloadable games much faster to load. Downloaded games have no resale value and so are very expensive. In the UK the game is currently available from Very for £32.00 and I bought some other bits to make use of a £20 off £50 voucher. Effectively making the game £12 for me.

It's nice to see third party developers starting to put their games on the eShop. But that's a huge download size, basic users will not be able to download the game. While deluxe users get their memory cut in half. I wish that Nintendo would have put a larger memory in the Wii U. Those who plan on downloading retail games are going to need to stock up on some hard drives.

That's a lot of space lmao, I only buy retail games and the odd eShop only game sooo I'll expand my 32GB to 64GB with an SD card but people who like downloading games might wanna invest in an external HDD.

I've just moved to BT broadband from talktalk and have 6 months free broadband but I have a download limit per month of 10GB. I plan to change to a higher download limit after the free period but downloading such games is simply not an option for me.

And this is why retail is still necessary.

Pretty much why I'll wait. At some point, better memory will be available with a lower price and more games

That is a very substantial amount of memory, but what the hell, anyone who is worried about getting it on Eshop will just get the disc anyway lol.
