Pikmin 3 is hitting Japan on July 13, Nintendo has announced. No release date has been announced for North America or Europe at this time.

Is that just the PAL box art? I wonder if it will be different in the USA?

time to revive this thread.
mixed the unlimited day system/timed system with limited supply of food system that runs out if you dont get enough.
you can replay days/screwup/ect. (hopefully you can turn this feature off for a playthough, or take some kind of hit, eather way i wont use it).
multytasking is easier, captains can control themselfs.

Not really sure about getting this game now. The 30 day time limit is the reason I can't get more than halfway through Pikmin. >_< Interesting mix definitely, but still, it's that time limit.
Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

That is one of the game mechanics that makes this game so great

I agree, I find the original way more fun because of it. The second almost feels like Animal Crossing because of how leisurely I can be. o-o

this game is one of the 4 games that totally sell this console for me...........between pikmin 3, zelda, mario kart, and SSB i just cant get enough of these games

I agree a mobile version of this game would be really cool, and they may do it since they re produced the first 2 games from game cube and put them out on the wii

a game full of living weed plants that are your mother doges. the red ones are hard to light.

Joining. I am excited for this one for a slightly different reason. I've actually never played a pikmin game before, pikmin 3 will be my first. I haven't really played a lot of Nintendo franchises which is my focus for the wii u. The game looks gorgeous and there is so much fandom around this relatively more recent edition to the general Nintendo fare that I'm psyched up to try the series. This will probably be what I get with the store credit from my PS3 trade in.

Hope I can join, I bought the first two Pikmin games on GameCube almost immediately as they came out. After nearly ten years the wait is nearly over...
I've just seen the north America tv ad on another thread (although am I mistaken or did I read that for once, Europe gets it first?).
