Seems That Microsoft AND Sony had a chance to be what the Wii was and the Wii U is still capitalizing on.

Also, Nintendo was offered Kinect but they turned it down.

And rightly so. Games just don't really work for that thing.
Anybody else find it ironic that the way the representatives for Microsoft and Sony are almost identical in nature to the Sonydrones/Xbots?
The post above was certified to be simply smashing by the Wii U Forum Staff.

Nintendo would've made it work. And rightly so. Games just don't really work for that thing.

To be honest, Kinect seems to have achieved what the Wii sought out to do more successfully. Not sales-wise of course but in terms of getting gamers active the Kinect is a heck of a lot better than the Wii.And rightly so. Games just don't really work for that thing.
I'm not a fan of motion control gimmickry either way so while Kinect really limits the experiences it can offer I don't find the Wii's motion oriented games to be much, if any, better.

Nintendo$, $ony, & Micro$oft are all ignorant. They are bloody companies out to bend, lie, and cheat. All so they can make you feel all specially related some how to them to bank in your cash. If you dislike one for said behavior, you might as well dislike them all. That's why I hate $ony and Micro$oft. Ignorance runs deep in them.
How exactly? It would have been the same tech offered to them from a means of a third party. Not like Nintendo could have really managed much of a difference in results.Nintendo would've made it work.
QFT, I would have to totally agree. It really all depends on the game you get. Some could do the job fairly and others just drove you crazy.I'm not a fan of motion control gimmickry either way so while Kinect really limits the experiences it can offer I don't find the Wii's motion oriented games to be much, if any, better.
Rise of Nightmares still annoys me to this day. Always turning to far or something. As for the Wii I was never a big fan of some shooters, for example, RedSteel when I got my Wii (on launch) was clunky feeling. Not to mention the Wii for sure is not made for super fast movement. At the end of the day motion controls kind of suck & even Nintendo sort of shows it with a lot of their games. Sort of by not using anything other than a controller flick to jump or maybe a form of attack your not required to aim with.

They don't have to be on rails. The hardware would still limit them. They'd just end up making on rails Metroid and Starfox as well as other sports games that Kinect already has.
