I have my Wii U updating for tomorrow and i would like to know what should i do to make sure it wont brick and how long will the system update take?

It took about 40 mins for me.

It took around 8 hours for me, on 120mbit.
Depends where you are etc.
NoE seem to have cheapened out on servers, pretty much everyone I know has taken more than 4 hours.

Yeah - took me about 45 min - just make sure nothing happens to cut power during installation and you should be fine

Lol that brought back the pass.
When i was younger i was playing mgs 1. Been playing it for a while and didnt save because if you beat it withoit saving you get stuff.
Well made it to the last boss.
Then here comes my mom. Said her socket in her bathroom stop working and she was going to flip it.
Me : ya ya im playing this game.
Bam power goes out. No no no no, 5hrs down the drain.

Lol idk why but when you said wht u said it reminded me of that

took around 50mins for me,oh and dont forget to fully charge the pad first or make sure its plugged in while your doing the update,you dont want to lose power half way through
