This morning, Iwata revealed Pokemon X and Y, the new 6th Generation Pokemon games for the Nintendo 3DS. The games will be released in October worldwide.

Nintendo doesn't make these games. Pokemon belongs on the handheld anyway!

NO 3RD GEN REMAKES? :( Pokemon X and Y? does this game feature coordinates?
I'm surprised Gamefreak announced it this early. I was expecting E3 for an announcement and 2014 for release.

Pokemon on a console? No. That won't work out Pokemon is meant to be a handheld game. The only thing I'd expect on Wii U is a spin-off.

Pokémon in 3D. 'Nuff said.

Crappy starter designs as expected, good legendary/mascot design. Even though it's in 3D, the graphics are still a bit meh. They're too bland and I'm 1000% sure the 3DS could do way more graphically, but they said that the footage is not final. I'm looking forward to this, the series really needed some changes,

3DS needs games too.
There won't be a 3D mario on the 3ds, they'll save that for the wii u.
3dland wasn't 3d.

Feels so odd getting English Gen 6 news when Gen 5 is not even 2 years old till March over here. Gen 5 was more filler due to the awkward time it came in for the handheld cycle. I can see Gen 6 lasting till 2017/2018 which will be great. Loving the European vibe from Gen 6. Everything about it so far looks amazing.

I really love the starters this time, but after goinf for the water type the past 2 gens, Im getting Chespin! Fennekin is too popular, but it looks nice.
