Japan is getting EB/Mother 3 for VC but no other region. Either NOA has awful PR or Itoi just doesnt give a care at all. We need to get the point across on Miiverse. This is unnaceptable!

Itoi was inspired to re-release the games in Japan after seeing an American Fangame. Perhaps he will consider this time around.

I really doubt it. There are a bunch of other localisations that are more plausible.

The reason they can't be released in North America or Europe is there is a bunch of copyrighted material, so it's either try to get approval from each one, or change the original games.

I read articles before on how easy it would be to remove. Nintendo is just trying to quite the fans down.The reason they can't be released in North America or Europe is there is a bunch of copyrighted material, so it's either try to get approval from each one, or change the original games.

This thread really shouldn't exist anymore, considering the fact that it is going to br on the VC by the end of the year.
Mother 3 may come if Earthbound does really well since there will be GBA games on the VC. The person who did the fan translation also said that he would be willing to do anything with translation for free.

Exactly. Its just silly and ridiculous bumping this thread up when there was no need and only serves to cause concern and to mislead people. Common sense would tell one not to bump it up. Honestly.
