Umm... I don't know.. I have a 3DS and only bought four games for it... I sold one to my cousin back in the summer... now I only have three... I don't have a vita...

So you're calling Super Mario 3D Land, Kid Icarus Uprising, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, New Super Mario Bros, all the pokemon main series games, Mario kart 7 and DS, the fire emblem series, the super mario land games, wario land, donkey kong GB, the portable zelda games, Metroid Fusion, Tetris games, mario vs. donkey kong, Golden Sun, most Harvest Moon games, the Mario & Luigi games, the RPG mario sports games, Advance wars, WarioWare Twisted, a few of the cooking mama games, sonic rush, elite beat agents, Yoshi's Island DS, The World Ends With You, Kingdom Hearts, Kirby Canvas curse, nintendogs and that's just some games off the top of my head, "Not Good"?

Well not all of them but this all comes down to personal preference of the games you like. Same to be said about why you're not buying a Vita. Those supposed games you do not like are liked and considered a gem to another.
Yet what I believe he was trying to say was handheld games in quality are not good. (At least I would hope) As in they never live up to the limits of the console counterpart due to the lack of its tech. You can't expect the handheld market to really lead the overall appeal in gaming.

Yeah, and how many of them are on 3DS? maybe ten percent of them?
Also, you don't know good handheld games until you've played kid icarus uprising.

Hush up the Vita is a decent kit, the thing about it is that it has so much potential. If you can get some friends on the Vita then it is great fun playing together similar to the way it is on Xbox. You can chat, collect trophies, web browse, skype and there are lots of games on the market. Modnation, LBP, Assassin's Creed, Fifa, CoD, Killzone are all on it. Tearaway amongst others are coming which look great and the screen on it is clear, I really would suggest looking into one properly.
