#58985 Really important job for us all

Posted by Rasvita on 01 February 2012 - 11:01 AM

I got  to six minutes into that video before I got too sick of the swearing to watch anymore.

I think part of the problem is that not everyone has infinite moneys to pay for video games.  Therefore, they want to buy games that they know they are going to enjoy.  Games like Mario and Zelda are games that lots of people know they will enjoy.

Personally, when I hear about a new Nintendo game like Mario Kart or some such,  I get really excited because often I've played a previous game in the series and enjoyed it.  Also, I trust Nintendo as a company to create enjoyable games.  When I look at the 3rd party games that have been announced for the Wii U, I see lots of darker, violent games which I'm just not interested in.  When 3rd parties create games that I find really interesting, I will buy it.

I think that the demos that are being brought to the 3DS (and hopefully the Wii U) are a great thing to let people experience new games from other companies.  They let people experience a game that they wouldn't otherwise play.  This way people can find new games that they find fun.

to this day im extremely cautios to buy another nintendo system so i dont spend another 6 years with 2 games & 300 others I cant because its not on my system

You buy games for a system you don't even have?

Nintendo's rectifying whatever complaints most people had about the Wii.
Man, it surprises me how 1 system makes a mistake, and the entire company is immediately given a black mark, where were  comments like this during PS3's $599 us dollars run?

PS Not trying to accuse you of anything, just pointing out stuff I've seen else where.

this is why 3rd parties have not supported nintendo consoles in the past (other than lack of HD graphics on wii).
it is really important that we all support third parties from launch with the wii u if we want 3rd party support to continue, we are so lucky the third parties are giving us this chance with wii u, lets not let them down. i blame the gaming media a lot for this problem but its also an issue with the consumers, lets bring this around :)

#55587 What is the average age group on the website I bet I'm the youngest one h...

I'm 23.

Man, I feel like an old man compaired to most of you guys!

im 17 but im glad to see soo many young people on the site :D i used to worry that the only true nintendo fans were those who grew up with snes and n64, but you guys proved me wrong, im so glad :D

Just a little advice Crackkat, most young Nintendo fans don't plauge Youtube.
Only young Microsoft and SONY fans do. (The one's that act like they are adults online) ;)

#59685 Why it won't matter if Wii U is not as powerful as neXtBox and PS4.

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 04 February 2012 - 07:09 PM

I don't think PS4 or NextBox will be that much more powerful, they don't have enough money to do something like last time. Besides, I believe that the Graphics race is over.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the RAM race. Graphics are coming to a point that until we get past the Uncanny Valley, they won't be getting any better, so until that happens, it will be who can get more stuff happening on Screen with without a drop in quality. But the problem is that RAM is more expensive then GPUs and stuff, so Sony and Microsoft can't afford to try to take out the Wii U with that either.

In Conclusion, the Wii U is great, and will not be overshadowed by either of the new systems.

#57783 New Wii U news: Wii U will have a individual account system, and more

Posted by InsaneLaw on 27 January 2012 - 02:57 AM

Well, the Wii U wasn't really meant to be unveiled at last E3, it was supposed to be about the 3DS, but then the rumours started and Nintendo was forced to put something together quickly, especially the Zelda Demo, that was made in a very short timespan.

#11113 Which version of Super Smash Bros. 4 will you buy?

It's Smash Bros. What more needs to be said? Of course I'll be getting both versions. :)

#38880 Donkey Kong U

Posted by Jikayaki on 27 October 2011 - 11:47 AM

I'd rather see someone at Nintendo finally bring the gameplay of Donkey Kong Country into the third dimension. I enjoyed Donkey Kong 64, but I wouldn't call it the ideal transition from a side scrolling platformer to a third person platformer. I'm relatively positive this would be good challenge for Retro and if done right it could easily give Nintendo a third heavy hitter. The tp's idea itself wouldn't be bad as a downloadable game for the Wii U or a full game for the 3DS.
