#81877 Rumor: Wii U to support 4 U pads?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 30 May 2012 - 10:50 AM

just as i have predicted for months now, jessedog will back me up on this

i repeat, its really not too difficult, its only a bit more difficult than 4 player split screen on ps3 cos its like running 4 seperate games. the extra difficulty is in rendering more pixels but being a "powerful powerful... next gen system" the wii u should be able to do it

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible(Assuming that the GPU and cpu can handle it.) If need be, they can drop the graphics quality, like Halo does, or the Frame Rate, Like Mario Kart.

Who is gonna buy 4 of them anyway, they will be expensive as hell. I mean, motioncensor, camera, 6,2 inch 480p (?) touchscreen (single touch resistive though, which is cheaper than multitouch capacitive), NFC, all other functions a controller has... Good for about 80 dollars, seeing a Wii + Nunchuck already is 60.

Lan Parties? Couch Gamers like my 2 bro's and myself, there is a market for it.

#72571 A problem that could happen with Wii U's launch titles.

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 16 April 2012 - 02:18 PM

I doubt that 3rd parties would be that dumb, and I doubt people would only buy Nintendo Games at launch.
In fact, I think that if there weren't Mario and pikmin, that it would hurt the Wii U. No they may want to delay one at launch if they were REALLY afraid of this, but I doubt it.

#69481 Does anyone notice how the bad rumors came right after the bad PS4/720 rumors?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 04 April 2012 - 01:58 PM

I am a teenager but I bet the fanboys who are trolling are just a bunch of kids or teenagers who have no gaming experience except from COD whatsoever. They hate on Nintendo? Well, I bet they've never played Zelda or Mario Galaxy.

I've read a comment from someone that said "graphics over gameplay anyday" I was shocked.

A lot of these are also "grown men" you can find these silly ponys so easily.

-I know this part is about Battlefield vs COD, but I think you get the point.
"Battlefield 3 may beat MW3 in gameplay and other stuff, but it won't beat it in sales and online because Battlefield sucks and it's for (cats)" I will show you one of his not good videos once I find him again.

Welcome to the Internet!

#67657 WiiU game prices

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 23 March 2012 - 07:58 PM

How about they let the publishers decide? Some games deserve to cost $60, while others only deserve to cost 50. I think publishers should decide for every individual game.

No, COD would Become $80, and then it will break money earned records.  WE DON'T WANT THAT.

#67379 Rumors about Retro's new game

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 22 March 2012 - 11:55 AM

NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This is terrible, HORRIBLE!  What will we ever do?!?!?!?

Extremely over dramatic freaking out aside, this could have positive and negative implications for me.  On the positive side, it means that they are putting lots of effort into making this game great.  On the negative side, this means that they could be making an uninteresting game.  If I wanted an XBox/PS3 game, I would get a XBox/PS3.  I'm hoping that this game will still have that Nintendo feel.

........

It's by Retro. It will have the Nintendo feel, because Creativity flows through they're veins. As long as it's not a cut and paste FPS, it'll be fine.

#65286 E3 WiiU controller

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 07 March 2012 - 12:58 PM

They're not going to go with silly resolutions like that.
Also, I get the feeling you're doing this to me on purpose.

Of course he's not!

That's Auzzie's job!

#64892 GDC 2012 info center

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 05 March 2012 - 11:13 AM

sadly, a lot of people were unsure, i dont know how anyone in their right mind, could have been unsure, it was soo ridiculously obvious, they wouldn't announce an AC game for wii u, and it not be AC 3

Yeah, considering that it wasn't AC:R

#64350 Rainbow 6 Patriots coming to Wii U

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 02 March 2012 - 10:13 AM

yh but usually they put crap games at launch, but the wii u games are all looking amazing!!

That's because they became Nintendo's "BFF" After they made millions on the Wii.

#63986 Once the Wii U's release date is announced...

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 28 February 2012 - 08:42 AM

I'd go for it. It's easier than doing the calculations in my head only to get a "yippee 120 days to go...."

#63719 Wii U controller original design leaked

I wonder why NIntendo went with the other design at E3.

Never show your entire hand.

#63334 Will F-Zero make a comeback ?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 24 February 2012 - 02:50 PM

I actually believe they should be making an F-Zero game for the Wii U. A fast pace, hardcore sci-fi racer could be just the thing to show off the true power of the Wii U.

#63296 Are Video Games becoming too real?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 24 February 2012 - 09:28 AM

Let me ask you this: Is it bad that video games are getting too real?

Don't get me wrong, I like more stylistic games myself, but what's wrong with realism?

I think Devs. are starting to forget that gaming is an Art Form. I'm all fine for realism, but the need to sometimes take advantage of the fact this is just a game, and thus do something that can only be done in a game.

#62004 WiiU Trophy/Achievement system

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 16 February 2012 - 04:25 PM

So which one?

Stamps, trophies, acheivements, rewards, medals, or prizes.

I like the idea though of the achievement system. When your playing a game an achievement can pop up on your controller. Going on with the wii clothes idea. Every time you accomplish achievements, you can get mii points. Mii points can be used to buy things in the mii store. Like clothes, glasses, or shoes. So if you defeat Sonic in Super Smash Bros. You can get 10 mii points, or so. Then when you are done playing the game you can go to the Mii store and buy some items for the miis. Say a new set of eyes is 30 mii points, you can buy it. When you first enter the mii channel the clothes, eyes, etc. are default. but every week or so, Nintendo can publish new clothes.

I don't want the acheivement to be on the screen to long though, 2 seconds is fine. I would want it to be like NFL 2k5, where it shows very quick ,"You have been playing for an hour 170 crib points are added to your bankroll." But only two seconds. I picture the acheivement notification system to show a blue and white box in the corner showing you accomplished one.

The trophies can be sculptures of Nintendo characters. On the menu it can show the trophy room. Then the First party game trophies are Nintendo charcters. The 3rd party trophies can be plaques saying something like this "You got 25 kills in Battlefield 4." This notification system can work offline and online.

That sounds like a pretty good idea, but if it were implemented, I think you would earn Play Coins, that way you can use them for more than just Mii Stuff.

#60562 Not-clickable sliders, an issue?

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 08 February 2012 - 09:47 PM

I've said it once, but I feel it was overlooked, so I'll say it again: Nintendo is listening to Devs. EA or Activition have probably told them about this, so I'm pretty sure it's taken care of.

And even if neither of them have, someone should've by now.

#60449 PSVita no BC for PSP & A Fan base divided

Posted by Terrabyte20xx on 08 February 2012 - 01:11 PM

http://vita.ign.com/.../1218182p1.html

This article confirms that I'm not going to get a Vita for a while, considering ALL of my PSP games are on UMD.

But that's not the main reason I posted this topic, if you scroll down to the comments section, the Sony fanboys are arguing about this issue. How could one detail cause a fan base to squabble amongst themselves like this?
