#169281 Can someone give me a convincing reason to get a Vita

Posted by UnholyVision on 09 February 2013 - 01:14 PM

@Abcdude: I am calling them, "not good". xD
Well not all of them but this all comes down to personal preference of the games you like. Same to be said about why you're not buying a Vita. Those supposed games you do not like are liked and considered a gem to another.

Yet what I believe he was trying to say was handheld games in quality are not good. (At least I would hope) As in they never live up to the limits of the console counterpart due to the lack of its tech. You can't expect the handheld market to really lead the overall appeal in gaming.

To a super hybrid human-dog race!

Good luck with this impossible mission. I leave this up to you CUD. Be sure not to die to some allergy in the process. Would dislike to see another dog be destroyed because of it. (Where is the explosives to destroy the message. Maybe I should have left this up to Tom Cruise. He sure is crazy enough to try it and stupid enough to not know it is impossible). ;)

Because humans and animals mating could cause new diseases to mutate, like bird flu, swine flu, hiv, etc.

Considering HIV and Aids originated from monkeys and later mutated down the line of evolution to apes to so and so forth. It would likely be just yet another mutation of the two species sexual transmitted diseases if something were to come of it. Hopefully people are smart enough to wear a condom these days. At least when it comes to human interaction so they did not catch even the new or old STD's, STI's, or VD's (what ever you want to call it), if they don't already carry it as is. As for flu's the H1N1 strain of the swine flu was already in us before the big outbreak and no one had to try and mate with a pig to get it. Heck you can pass some flu strains to or from your house hold domesticated pets. Might as well just throw all your pets away in the long run if you're worried about a flu of some sort.

She had sex with the dog willingly and they put the dog down...

Because it was the dogs fault for killing her of course. That is if the dog was willingly doing it out of being in heat what a bad dog giving into its primitive urges, it should have known better. (When the lady was basically doing the same thing. Yet people tend to let these kinds of things slide when someone dies). Damn dirty dog.

Ahem, the topic at hand. As much as this is not appealing to me. I could careless what others do with their sexual preference. If you keep it behind closed doors, don't force things to happen, and are where I can't see it I am cool with that. xD

#154577 zombiU new game.

Posted by UnholyVision on 31 December 2012 - 02:58 PM

ZombieU does not have multiple save slots so yes it would overwrite the old game. Because you would have to delete your save to open up that slot. It was designed as a survival game that you were not really suppose to get out of stuff which happened. Meaning one save so you are not basically defeating the purpose of, "How long can you survive".

A random idea here, but if you want a clean slate for guest, you could always make another Nintendo account on your Wii U. Then just delete the save for that account each time we want a fresh go. Plus if accounts can ever act as secondary players with say the Mii for select games similar to the Wii you could have that as a plus.

I will say that Nintendo does a lot of wonky things, but what you are complaining about is a standard practice everywhere. If you continue to make an attempt to login an account over a select given time (Some account based systems have different X amount of times) then the system locks attempts to login for a select amount of time. This is a form of account protection.

Your best bet would be finding the "Forgot my password" option and getting an e-mail for instructions on how to obtain a new password and/or a temporary password to be able to access your account once again.

#149080 And this is why I returned the Wii U...

Posted by UnholyVision on 17 December 2012 - 10:58 PM

I can understand most of your points. But comparing it to the 360 is like apples to oranges, The 360 has had years to develop and is a completely different type of console.

Time to perfect & develop in what exactly? The original Xbox had Live, a chat-room (given it was like the PS3 in terms of being on the XMB), in-game chat, DLC (Though the store was sort of inside the game like Halo 2 did it), matchmaking, private gaming rooms, and a few other little things. Once the 360 came out you had all those features & some given tweaks. Considering Nintendo has been doing online multi-player through a Wi-Fi connection via Nintendo DS & a wired Ethernet adapter for the GameCube (Not all games, but some) you would think Nintendo could have changed some of these features at least in this area. Nope still the crappy internet ordeal.

If you're really into the whole avatar thing. Well Xbox 360 just did a one time thing adding it in the latest system. As far as Mii's go they have had plenty of time to change. Given you have them on the Wii, DSI/XL, 3DS/XL, and now Wii U. Many more chances through the lifespans of each device to do some tweaking in some areas to add more customizations at the bare minimum.

Controllers wise they really have not changed or refined anything. They are using the same button layout as the SNES controller (Not including the joysticks of course the two joysticks press in) other than the extra three buttons such as power, Controller, and the Home button. Which are not used in a game anyway. The days of their whole C-Pad and such are long gone so it appears. Instead they throw in motion controls to replace them and now a touch screen (home console wise).

Not saying the Wii U games or anything is horrible or the Wii U in general is complete garbage. Though if Nintendo wished to improve in said areas they have had plenty of leg room to work in. Heck, even if they could have even pulled in some new faces to help in the designing of the OS and/or other related software that can run inside said OS. Even could have got an outside source to come in and help. (Considering Nintendo has the money to do just that). Yet Nintendo lives in this world of old farts and/or ignorant people that do not really like much change. Instead it is add one feature and do little to no updates to wait for the next edition to hardware release another real small change in software.

#148456 Anyone else having this problem with their gamepad LCD screen?

Posted by UnholyVision on 15 December 2012 - 10:56 PM

Ah, so you took it out hardcore, by the way you made it sound you were only taking a peek. (Also, I asked this silly question because in the past I have had people not even know they could remove the plastic film on their other electronics). Yep, that right there does not look to good. No one used harsh chemicals on it or spilled anything on? Because that sort of looks like what can happen and warranties can be void from some companies due to this. If it is a local store (non-electronics based overall) they may just take it right back due to no kind of store policy with no questions asked.

What amazes me is Nintendo makes these boxes where you can easily slip the stuff all back in and slide it right back out. No bloody sealing tap on the taps either. You could have even got one that the store put right back on the shelf from a return and not really know it. (Of course, this is if the person takes the time to make it look like new on putting it back in the box) (Shrugs)

So anyone else with this issue put a blow dryer or heater next to it and it should resolve your problem. Just from humidity.

Be real careful with a hair dryer as it could cause damage. Use it on low and possibly cool blow to be on the safe side. As far as humidity goes, if you get it that bad to effect your electronic devices in your house hold, it may be time for a dehumidifier.

#147083 Leaving the forums?

Posted by UnholyVision on 12 December 2012 - 01:32 PM

Because it's easier.

Isn't there a friends list option for PM's? Instant PM to select friends. If not that is actually something to be considered as it is a standard in some forum structures and a standard mod added to others. (What I mean by forum structure is phpBB3, Simple Machines, vBulletin, et cetera).

Anyway, goodbye OP.

#147076 Atheism.

Posted by UnholyVision on 12 December 2012 - 01:18 PM

The definition of conversion is more than moving from one belief to another, it can mean bring one party over to another, to cross different view points.. logical conversion.

In a sense, yes, every belief (or non believer) can be an softshell lizard, but this includes atheist as well. As a Christian, they are the ones I usually have to attempt ignore the most (when being rude, of course).

Yes, I know, but I was just saying the converting in theory is not the exact same as a religion. Being as your not converting on party from one religion to another in a form of belief. I will say I may have not conveyed what I was proclaiming very clear, but still. (shrugs Edit: I sort of was going from the Mitch guy to him and possibly reading it wrongly. Yet some people think to believe in nothing is a religious belief itself as if it required some kind of practice. Which is absurd).

Really? Atheist can be assholes? No, I never would have guessed. Again not the point of what I was saying. He was stating atheist up front and I just was adding that it was not just atheist that can be anti-theist. Everyone can be anti-theist to dispute others & belittle a non-belief. How is that not understandable? (Kind of confused why your emphasizing on this is all. Also, how it reads may sound badgering I suppose. Yet it was intended in a sort of sarcastic way).

#134942 Help - the wii won't show up on my tv now

Posted by UnholyVision on 20 November 2012 - 03:59 PM

what does "bricked" mean?

Bricked means your system was in the middle of an firmware update and was stopped in the middle to ruin your device (as in it will not function properly from now on). Sort of your system is now a paper weight, a brick to put on it.

#131792 What game should I get?

Posted by UnholyVision on 17 November 2012 - 09:08 PM

New Black Zombie Creed. It's really good.

Pfft, Super Black Zombie Bro Creed was better. Until they pulled it off the market because apparently it was racist for being called "Black Zombie". That and Rick Ross was suing over the name Super Black Zombie since it was his so called movie idea that he orignally showed an image of himself supposedly as a black zombie on his cd cover. Image Link It failed instantly and he was laughed out of court, due to not knowing the difference between a zombie and vampire.

Anyway, I would say Super Mario Bro's U (If not played the Wii version) or ZombieU
