Hell-IX (read it as roman numeral Hell "Nine") is a Combat & Rescue game based on classic games like Desert Strike, Tiger Heli, Air Rescue and others. The concept is very simple, take off, search for marines, rescue them and return home meanwhile you’re fighting against the enemy troops.

Hell IX will be release multidevices, Nintendo Wii U, OUYA, GameStick, iOS, Android, PC, Mac & Linux

We have a Kickstarter Project and any help will be great, you can get nice rewards starting from $1, or get a 2x1 Hell IX's licences for only $10 (good if you want the game on your Wii U and on another device or to gift to a friend or family).

We have to a Greenlight for Steam if you are interested on PC/Mac/Linux version, please vote for us here:

About us:

Retromade Games Studio was founded 2 years ago by veterans from the advertising and technology industry. We’re developers who not only make games, we play them too.

Our basic philosophy is to return to classic gameplay. If you remember the old coin-up machines and classic home computer like ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Coleco, Atari, etc. we do too and feel our love for those simple games helps draw inspiration. We decided we can make games keeping controls as simple as the classics but with a modern visual twist. New games with a classic soul.

Thanks for read :)

I can't believe that this can run on a Blackberry!

What's the target performance you guys are looking at for Wii U? Perhaps...oh I don't know, Native 1080p at 60 frames per second? :3

Definite buy for me btw

I am the foot. I do not like you. You smother me with socks and shoes, then step on me thousands of times a day.

We foot will rebel one day.

Amanda :)

Our targer in Blackberry is Z10... a modern device with the same power than an Android or iOS device. However, these videos are from "medium" version of Hell IX... this mean, where a device can support better performance (consoles, desktop computers) the game will looks better, where a device have lower performace (smartphones, tablets) the game will have a bit lower visual quality...

But if you take a look to our previous game (Fixie Joe), you will see we can squeeze a lot smartphone & tablets devices... this video was taken with the iPad 2 version of the game:

(we will port this game to Wii U after the summer)
