I think a console is out of the question, because They would not create 3 exclusive Sonic games for Nintendo if they were making a new system. I also think that a merger is highly unlikely, so many Sony/mocro fans would be unable to play SEGA games...

you said "the only version that will have 4 characters at once as well as Murphy." which by what you said, you're saying 3 players and a 4th player that plays as murphy. The game handles 4 players and a 5th player that handles murphy.
