Hello All, Just thinking about next E3 a little early. What do you think Nintendo will have in store for us at their conference? What will they be showing us of the new Smash Bros.? Will any new IP's, first or third party be introduced for the U or 3DS? Debate away.

Nintendo needs to have something BIG ready for E3 or they might be overshadowed by the PS4 or next Xbox. They need all(new IPs, 1st party, and 3rd party) Also, a Kid Icarus game

My ideal Nintendo E3 line up.. this seriously will be the best E3 conference EVER! New Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Windwaker remix, probably Metroid and Smash bros!

 

 

I'll try and keep mine as realistic as possible:

 

1. Wii U OS updates

2. Start off with 3D Mario

3. Go into a small 3DS segment with some 3DS games(Pokemon X/Y, Mario Golf release date, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team release date andDonkey Kong Country Returns release date) and announce like 2 new games for holiday 2013.

4. Yarn Yoshi

5. Mario Kart Wii U

6. 3rd party games

7. Joint projects (Bayonetta 2, Shin Megami Tensai x Fire Emblem) and any new joint projects they want to show off

8. Say there is one more joint project we forgot, Super Smash Bros 4. (show something)

9. Windwaker HD trailer

10. (X)enoblade 2

11. Retro Studios Project to end it off

I'm sure Nintendo is going to do just fine, they have alot of things people are looking forward to!

 

Regarding Smash 4 specifically, the BEST thing that could happen is screenshots/trailer/gameplay/release date/demo @ E3 and online. At worst is just some screenshots. :/ Naturally Sakurai will have to reveal the name, I'm so curious as to what it'll be called.

Most of this has already been confirmed, except for Zelda and Metroid. But especially Metroid is very likely, and Zelda teaser.. I think we'll see a 3DS Zelda reveal trailer. Spirit Tracks came out in 2009 and OOT was a remake. It's time for a new one.

They need a big Nintendo Direct this April, get all teh Mario games out the way and that way they can concentrate on the really awesome stuff like new unmentioned titles, Zelda and Retro's IP.

I swear they better do something right because everyone was massively disappointed last year. Show some partnerships like Sony is getting, gameplay from Bayonetta 2, and a CG Smash Bros trailer, remember that, everybody and their mom was buying a Wii just for a CG trailer with no gameplay, what I heard is that they are just going to show screen shots of Smash 4? DON'T DO IT.

I think Nintendo will do way better than last year at E3. Not only do they have some Mario games planned, but Wind Waker HD, Smash Bros (at least some more info), new Yoshi game, Pokemon X/Y, Fire Emblem crossover, Xenoblade, and possible unknown titles. This holiday season my wallet will be in the negatives.
