Well I dont agree with you guys due to not reading everything I said in my first post!Nintendo just give me mario party 1 on the virtual console will you?!? because the second one blows!  Again when the inferior mario party 2 gets on the wii u vc I will gladly start a petition there!

@mournblade talk some sense into these people that mario party 1's vc release was never cancelled!

Relax, you're going a bit too overboard with this. It almost seems like you're hating on Mario Party 2 simply because most people like it. It's not that serious.

Trust me I own all 3 of the n64 mario parties on cartridge & I thought 2 was the weakest of the 3 & the only reason I want the first on there is that the sticks wont hurt at all!

I own all three of them as well. But crying to Nintendo about the first one not being released on the VC over the Wii U forums isn't going to do anything. Nintendo decides what they want to release and when. If you don't like it, then it's too bad. Why don't you just play the original game and be content with that? It's not like putting it on the VC is going to make a difference.

And when everyone talks about virtual console mario parties there will be only 2-7 because of nintendo being lazy by not adjusting the controls! you get over it!

.... You're saying that it's badly designed? Mario Party 1 had terrible control stick spinning minigames. Plus, Mario Party 1 was kind of confusing in terms of coin distribution. Mario Party 2 was more consistent.
