I admit that I might have been a little harsh in my post, but we don't need to descend into pointless bickering.

 

No bashing, insulting, or otherwise pointlessly slandering Nintendo or their competitors. We're a community of respectful Nintendo fans. If you're here only to talk trash, don't even bother joining. That said, blind fanboyism (be it of Nintendo or any other company) will not be tolerated, either - if you've got something negative to say about any of the big three, it's fine to do so as long as it's phrased constructively and you know what you're talking about.

I doubt I will get either, at least for a few years into the generation.  But if I had to choose, I'd probably go with PS4 because I think Playstation offers a significant advantage with respect to interesting exclusive franchises.

I believe that all polls should have a third option instead of forcing people who are compelled to vote to pick one of two options which neither they like. It's not the American elections.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the PS4 controller. The Xbox 360 controller is perfect, PS3's is faaaar from that.

I don't even know why people are voting for the Xbox One, if you buy the thing you are part of the problem not the solution, Micro$oft will recieve your money be happy and act like nothing ever happened they will get away with it AGAIN!!! PS4 and Xbox One are mostly the same hardware wise you might as well get a PS4 there are nowhere near as many cons and it will probably have better exclusives. Oh look another Halo/Gears Of War yaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy! I know Micro$oft said that they had exclusive games in the works but they are probably just Kinect 2.0 games.

I will buy whatever console I decide this is a problem with a fanboy just because somebody chooses a console the other person dosent like you lamblast them for it I was on the IGN forums god I tell you one thing I thought Microsoft fanboys were bad but Sony fanboys take it too another level they only seem too come out in force when they think they have the better console happened at the beggining of the PS3 it was all the same and they only dissapeared when the PS3 wasn't the success they thought it would be but god they are back with vengeance cant I just go onto a forum and read an objective opinion that's all I ask and this is from someone on the fence my console of choice is Xbox but I will wait till E3 to make my decision.

If I end up with the money, I plan to purchase a PS4. Mostly for the fact that everyone I know, will have the PS4, or the Wii U, and Xbox One.. Personally, I like Xbox, more than Playstation.

Why don't we wait until they're out? It's hard to like something you've never had experience with. And since this forum is full of people who don't care for Microsoft, the PS4 will win.

We don't dislike MS. We dislike being told we can't play used games and have to pay out of the rear for a ton of passes. I was actually looking forward to Xbox One over PS4 until I saw the crap that MS was doing.

Barely anyone on here likes Microsoft. All I see is hatred towards Xbox in general. It was here before the Xbox One was revealed. None of y'all were going to buy a Microsoft console to begin with! It's cool to prefer whatever you want, and if you disagree with Microsoft's practices, that's fine. But people are making ME feel guilty because I am interested in something they aren't, and make it seem like I'm making a stupid choice. That's where we have a problem.

I'm not hating on you or anything (I know better than that). I do have to ask, what's got you interested in the Xbox One?

 

From my perspective, considering all that we know about the Xbox One from the reveal, it's going to take a lot more than killer software to draw interest. I mean, I gave up on 3DS a while back but kind of regret selling the actual console because the software I do want is coming out sooner than I gave it. From what I've seen, Xbox One needs a few killer hooks beyond software to make me want to have one.

 

Also, as I have REPEATEDLY said many times before, Feld0 has enforced on this forum no bashing of the big three, and by extension, any other developer. I will accept that's hypocritical because I have expressed outrage towards the Xbox One before, but in retrospect that's initial overreaction.

 

Also, keep discussion clean guys. I don't want to see people demanding other people to come at them.
