To me its really just about that they showed games that were expected and some that were, were no where to be found. I wanted Metroid and some info on new Zelda but no nothing was mentioned of these games. I'm not saying it was bad but kinda not worthy of the hype I set myself to feel. Still I really digg X, Mario Kart and Smash.

Tbh yes. X & Bayo looked good but nothing really new. Also loads of the games were 2014 release!

No idea why people are screaming and moaning about this direct, what was they expecting???? I'l buy these games, I might enjoy these games, and i was perfectly ok with this direct because Its what i was expecting.
Also you left out Smash Bros. Looks like you added it now

They look like good games, everything there though except 'x' could probably run on the 360 though... I know graphics are not everything but when are we going to get next gen?? I'm tired of playing cartoony games.

They played it too safe. Yeah, they showed these amazing titles, but how new were they? 3D World is practically a glorified port of 3D Land. Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze is yet another platformer. Wii Party U and Wii Fit U are obligatory. MarioKart 8 looks to have some nice courses. Wind Waker HD is a remake. I was expected something new and exciting, atleast from 3D Mario. They're all amazing titles, but Nintendo's playing them safe.
Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

I like platformers, but when you hype something for 2 years it better be something amazing.

Playing it safe would be letting Retro make a game that would show case the Wii U's graphics.

I still in shock with Retro, after they hired a bunch of dudes from different companies and they end up doing DK...a side scroller just to add insult to injury.

We need more threads like this. And on the issue of the games coming out in 2014 most will probably launch Q1-Q2. People seem to lack patience.

Everything they showed looks amazing and i think i will enjoy them more than the Wii games.
But besides Megaman and DKCR, what else? More delays, no Yoshi, no 3rd party devs besides Ubisoft and Sega. Where`s GTA V, MGS5, CoD?
What new franchises is Nintendo developing? They want to attract PS3 and X360 owners, but where are the games for those gamers?
