I still can't get over how good the opening is.
And the characters are amazing.

If you want to know what it's about, the video below explains it pretty well.

Forgot to mention a newer anime called Deadman Wonderland. It isn't finished yet but it's pretty interesting.

Anyway, after I watched that I found out that it was the last one, so i decided to watch the whole series from the beginning (and 3 of the endless 8) and after that i decided to re-watch the film to get a better sense of what was going on, and i thoroughly enjoyed it.
so now I've finished i don't know what to watch next to watch, i tried welcome to NHK but did not find it as compelling to watch.
any suggestions are appreciated.

Chaos Head is okay, it hyped itself up too much.I've been watching Chaos Head recently. You should check it out if you have seen and liked Death Note or Welcome to the NHK.

stiens gate is from the same company, and a million times better.
deadman finished last year, unless you're watching on toonami.
haruhi has like zero character development though.I started watching anime about 4 days ago when i came across the film "The disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" while I was clicking the suggested video's on youtube. I never thought at that point I would actually watch any of it, but i ended up watching the whole thing and i really enjoyed it, even though i didn't understand most of it because i had not scene the previous episodes.

Azumanga Daioh is along the same lines without "sci-fi" touches, and character development and better as a whole.

I rewatched Higurashi, but the english dub. Every summer I rewatch the series, so in a week or two, I will marathon each season and maybe the movies. I have been waiting for this, as I haven't actually seen the final episode of Kira(even though I downloaded it when it was subbed).
Eh... I also have Nyarlko, Korean Zombie, and Aria waiting for me to start watching...

Well, Accel World didn't end at ep 12 like everything else I was watching. Still need to get back to Otome Tasogare X Amnesia at some point. Sword Art Online has promise. Gonna have to watch the first ep of the new stuff before figuring out what to follow.
Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

Sonic X ( It's not all that bad as some people claim it is, just some times it goes off topic from what a Sonic cartoon should be, but its tolerable).
Kirby Right Back At Ya ( I truly enjoyed this one, but still suffers from not focusing on the main character problem, still tolerable).
Dragon Ball Z ( Kai) ( Really enjoyable and entertaining. I've only watched Kai on Nicktoons so I've missed out on some filler and the entire Buu saga.)
Dragon Ball GT ( Eh, I stopped watching a few weeks after starting. Just didn't entertain me like DBZ did. Don't really know why.
I'm currently watching Deadman Wonderland on Toonami on Cartoon Network. Has an interesting story, but be warned it's not for little kids to watch. It has disturbing elements, cursing ( lots of bleep censors also) and blood. A mature teenager can handle it at least. But not for small children.

I've heard great things about that anime and it's on my to watch list. I can't really say much about the book, though, as I read it a few years ago.I am really interested in Ganketsuo: The Count of Monte Cristo. I find it very interesting especially that twist at the end. I really enjoyed the betrayal of the count. It was very cleverly orchestrated. I may even find myself picking up the book.

I just started watching Mysterious girlfriend x and it's... actually not bad. But now I'm asking myself, why do I always find and watch the weirdest series?

I have heard Mysterious Girlfriend x is pretty good. I still need to watch Ganketsuo. I watched the first episode, and liked it. It looks like every one is wearing wallpaper for clothes.
I am currently watching Sword Art Online. Even though there are only 2 episodes, it shows a lot of promise.
I have also heard good things about Muv-Luv alternate, so I may watch that as well.

Kokoro Connect, Sword Art Online, Jinrui wa Suitai Shimarainbowa, and Horizon 2 (only because I watched the first season, which was terrible )
Really liking Space Bros. from last season though.
Here's two websites I recommend you use to pick your subgroup if you're so inclined.

?
I enjoyed Umineko.
Compared to the Visual Novel, the anime is pretty terrible.
