Now I never watch anime, but I Just started watching Attack On Titan and am enjoying it so far.

After having watched the whole thing (at least, what's available) I found its action intense, its characters likable, its villains actually fearsome, etc. The fact that it pulled my adrenaline and horror and sense of dark mystery around so effortlessly made me enjoy the whole ride.

I watched a few episodes. Didn't really like it.

Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

I watched all of it. It's kinda meh

Shame in concept had everything I would want but it just lacks a bit. It's not terrible but it's not deserving of the hype at all. It's decent and entertaining but it's no Gurren Lagen or Ghost in the Shell or Cowboy Bebop

Yes,it is garbage.

 

There is no character development, the disney-style animation is ugly as Wii, the story is nothing, it's just a shounen.

 

It's main problem is really something that's been becoming more apparent for the past 6 years in Japan, TokyoTV and their competitors are looking for new adaptions far too early into the life of the manga.

It was ok, it started out good but then they just dragged the story, I think there was 5 or more episodes just on the titan in the forest, It's slow pace in story was really annoying for me.

In all honesty, AOT isn't good, it's just generic as hell and is overhyped.  You can see where the budget went, and it wasn't animation, just action.  Everything else suffered (5 minute recaps, even DBZ didn't do that) when you only focus on action.

Plus the fanbase is just as bad as the homestuck and MLP fanbases.

Haven't watched the anime, but I'm reading the manga and am really enjoying it. It's not on the level of Tezuka or anything like that, but it's fun to read. Also it seems I'm in the minority about the art style, I love how sketchy and rough it is, and the weird, off look of the titans really makes them unsettling.

The story and gradually revealing mystery is very compelling.

But... The execution suuuuucked.

Each episode drags the most basic things on forever and only offers a few moments of fulfillment.

If I didn't watch the full first season as a marathon, it would have frustrated me into not caring.

I don't know what episode it was but but a Titan is about to or just started to eat a soldier and this dude standing there watches as he gives a freaking 10 minute monologue of what the flap he should do. Like come on just do something and shut the hell up.

 

Oh hey look it's a giant naked woman running lets remind you of that for 4 episodes and every scene and word...ugh
