I don't think it should be. Paying for a game is a terrible idea.

 

It would set a precedent where other developers would expect Nintendo to pay them to have games on their system as well and likely refuse to port the games otherwise.

 

Nintendo stated that they are open to discussing exclusives deals with developers that approach them with one, but they aren't going to go out pay a developer to bring their game to the Wii U. They aren't desperate and that would ultimately do more harm than good.

I don't know about paying for a game but GTA would be the obvious choice. Think about it we are entering the third generation a home console version of GTA will be missing from Nintendo platform. I'm not the biggest GTA fan but its one of the biggest selling games whenever it launches. We pretty much can guarantee eir will be xb1 and ps4 versions coming next year.... But I'm sure WiiU will be left out.

We got lego City, which also allows Nintendo it keep it's recognition for always having kid friendly first party games

Yeah good point, I'm loving GTA. Watch dogs could show the graphics off well, but like all the other multiplats I won't get the WiiU version because it won't be supported with dlc.

I can understand that. But such reason Nintendo will loose 3rd party support.

 

And it's not your fault, but those who gives us no DLC and poor ports... (Nintendo is also a part from that)

Ubisoft has brought all DLC from Assassin's Creed 3, Just Dance 4, and Splinter Cell Blacklist, which are all of the Ubisoft games available on Wii U that had DLC.

I'm not going to lie to you guys I don't play online. I just haven't gotten into that mode yet. Like I said before I think it starts with Nintendo. They have to push online in THEIR games. I will try something like cod ghost but not a lot. I rather play single player or coop. I have wife and kids I don't have a lot of time to jump online and play against other players. I guess I'm part of the problem I just don't care for online.

I've played MarioKart online- It's kinda cool, but for the most part I really don't care about that either.

I was surprised at the Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World graphics, they look almost realistic but with that great Mario cartoon look!

I think its a gamble but if nintendo can make Watch Dogs a Wii U exclusive that would bring a lot of Wii U sales ( just an opinion )
