Another excerpt from a review I wrote for Club Nintendo...
Wind Waker HD is a great-looking, great-sounding, great-playing masterpiece of a game. One of my new favorite games, it's most definitely worth the $50. It's not without it's flaws, though. Some graphical issues as well as frustrating bits of gameplay distract from, but don't ruin an otherwise amazing game.
Things I liked:
The art style is so incredibly good-looking, and the graphical power of the Wii U really makes it pop. The story and music are also wonderful, and those three things by themselves would make this a good game. But I was pleasantly surprised by the great gameplay which officially makes Wind Waker HD an amazing game.
Things I disliked:
There were a few graphical glitches; nothing huge, just distracting from an otherwise nearly perfect visual experience. There were also a few annoying parts of the game. The Triforce quest, although (apparently) improved vastly, was very time-consuming, but even in the frustrating bits, I had fun trying to figure them out. However, I very much disliked the fight against Puppet Ganon. It was confusing, and it took me a loooong time to figure out. Of course, once I did figure it out, it was relatively easy.
Thoughts?
