Not a lot of information has been given about Mario Kart 8 since E3 so do you think it is time for more? What charaters do you expect to come to the racing track? I really would like another trailer and a release date! What do you think?

I don't know what the deal is. You'd think that Nintendo would be advertising the game better. I hate to say it, but it really has been the most exciting Wii U game they have yet to show for me.

Nintendo usually stay quiet until they have a lot to show, then show a tiny amount of it.

I've not heard much about dk since e3.
but then I've not been looking as it doesn't appeal to me.

Last week they showed it on some geoff thing and did the cranky kong reveal at the vgx, beyond that I haven't heard much.

Well, they just had a huge blow out on gi
before vgx geof and reggie showed off new levels.
Before that dixie kong footage

I havent been looking for dk info. Just ANY information on upcoming wii u games, and every single time,its fricking dk...

It looks really cool from what I've seen- there was that Youtube video that was floating around with the race driver and commentator....  Would hope we get this by April or May, but it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't see it until Aug./Sept.

I am not sure how much I want to be revealed, for me I like suprises...it keeps me anxious.  I already know what Mario Kart is about.  I like to wait.  But I can understand wanting to have better trailers.

I'd love to see footage of some new levels, but I just honestly want an official release date.  I know this game is going to be great, and I know it will be a day one purchase for me.  I just want to know when we'll be getting it, but any new info and/or media is always welcome!

if they learned, we should see adds for MK and smashbros about a month before release, for about 3 months.

I am definitely for having Nintendo Power Magazine back, I loved it, specially back in the early 90s!!

I'm excited for Mario cart, to be perfectly honest. The last one I play was for the N64, which I no longer have. (Not sure what happened to it.) However, I'm a patent guy, so as long as the situation remains optiml for making, selling, buying, and playing video games, I could care less if it came out yesterday or december 2014. But... that's just me. I'd perfer a Summer release, so as to catch up on buying those games I don't have just yet.

Nintendo desperately needs to get out either Mario Kart 8 or Super Smash Bros. 4 early next year. Since SSB4 is not likely to come out then, they can't afford to delay Mario Kart 8.

I mean the game was in playable form at e3 this past summer. I was under the impression they were basically finishing it then and putting it on the polish. I'm pretty sure I even remember Hideki Konno saying they were aiming for 1080p 60fps with two player splitscreen onlinem which is why I'm assuming it's not out before Christmas.

I'm along the same lines, tho I have played the Wii version and 3ds.  I'm excited for it, but if it takes a bit longer, it won't kill me b/c I have a backlog of games on both systems.  that said, Nintendo needs to get this out sooner than later for sales.  and- if there were a single game that I bought the Wii U for, it's this one. But like you, I can be patient.
