They'd tone her down, like they did with Snake in Brawl. Keep in mind that SSB is a teen-rated franchise, too.

Snake doesn't have a sexual appearance. It's easy to tone someone down by preventing them from using overly-violent animations. Besides, Bayonetta wouldn't be Bayonetta if she couldn't do half the things she does in the game, so she'd be a wasted character. Snake doesn't have to use guns to be Snake.

And you don't need to tell me SSB is teen-rated. Smash gets its rating by the violence, not by the content.

If there is a new SSB4, I hope for the return of Sonic and Snake. Snake was in SSBB because the first metal gear game was on the NES. There was also plans of him to have been added to SSBM when they were making it.
I also hope for SSBM characters, even if they were clones, it's possible to balance them out.
The other character I actually hope for is Classic Megaman.

The first Metal Gear game was on the MSX 2; he was put in because Kojima "practically begged" Sakurai for Snake tks be in Melee, but it was too far into development for new characters to be included.

I'm pretty sure they WILL show a trailer for the game at E3 2013. Considering it only took them 7 months of development before showing a trailer for Brawl.

As much as I believe in the "More = Better" for a fighting game, i'd rather see more Nintendo characters and more expansion on the existing characters than for them to go overboard with third party characters. Some of the conclusions you can make to expand on the existing roster are pretty obvious.
Toon Link? Toon Zelda (Tetra)
Olimar? Louie (Or the new unnamed captains)
Marth/Ike? The new characters from Awakening.
Mario? Paper Mario.
Sonic? Tails.
Pokemon Trainer? Let's add some new skins and give him the Unova starters.

Heck, you could probably even enslave some monkeys and put them in balls for SSB4, but i'd like to see some homage paid to the franchises and games that kept the DS/Wii alive, and the ones that are selling the 3DS at the moment. (Kid Icarus, Professor Layton, Xenoblade...to name a few)

All I'm hoping they'll add to the roster is a character from the Golden Sun series, and Megaman, which might mean stages dedicated to the two franchises.

I'm thinking Mars Lighthouse for Golden Sun, and a Robot Master stage from any of the 10 Megaman games.

If an SSB game were to come to the 3DS, i'd defiantly be more pumped for the 3DS version. I've always wanted my Smash Bros on the go!
