I agree, but on the opposite side of the spectrum, I can't see why people want ridley in this game
he's a boss character for a reason

look at him compared to samus. And that's his second smallest form, all but one are around twice his size

The size argument is ineffective. If they can scale Bowser and Olimar to sizes for Brawl, they can scale Starfy and Ridley to size as well.

I actually want Toon Link to be replaced with the Young Link that was in Melee. Expect this time Young Link's moves will be TOTALLY revamped, based heavely on Majora's Mask.
Young Link is equiped the Gilded Sword and the Mirror Sheild.
Young Link could put on his Deku, Goron, and Zora masks as a Down-B move.
Young Link Final Smash? FIERCE DEITY

And if this is the case, why not bring Skull Kid too?

Also one thing i think they should stop is smashes like wario's. You have`e full control and it's really difficult to avoid.
final smashes were meant to be final strikes, not a power-up

I think you need to brush up on your Mario knowledge. In every mainstream game, Bowser has changed size. They change the size of Bowser throughout each game in the series. Bowser in Super Mario Sunshine is much larger then in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy.

Also, you're obviously not understanding Ridley's potential. There are good reasons why people want him so badly and why he's practically a shoe-in. You may not want him, but the vast majority does.

I'd love for this to happen. Toon Link really should not be a clone. If Nintendo can't bother to make him unique, he should be discarded for Young Link and be made unique. There is no excuse for Toon Link and Ganondorf to be clones.

I have no problem waiting. As long as the end results are great, I will be buying it. The game needs at least 2.5 years of development anyway.

We do not need a second or third Sonic rep. Sonic is fine by himself.

Waluigi is another unnecessary addition. Seriously, he's a spin-off character and designed purely for it. I highly doubt we'll be seeing him in the game, he is fine as an Assist Trophy.

What we also don't need is more clones. Roy was a slow, full-blown clone of Marth and was put in purely as an advertisement and nothing else. I would be infuriated if Pichu got in, because he was horrible in Super Smash Bros. Melee. They both deserved the axe and should not return.

I agree on F-zero characters, thought, but just one.

But there's a difference. Bowser is the main villain of Nintendo's staple series, so he's an icon in himself. Ridley on the other hand isn't as well known as bowser, and the metroid series already has its icon, Samus. Anyway, Metroid's staple villain would (more than ridley) be mother brain and there's no way it's making it into a smash bros as a jar.

Ridley is the second most important character in the Metroid franchise. Also, importance to the series does not affect whenever or not a character can be downsized to a playable one. If they can downsize Bowser to reasonable heights for a playable character, they can do the same towards Ridley.

I don't think you get what I'm saying
Bowser is that size in several of his main games(mario bros 1, super mario world, bowser's inside story, , ect)
Ridley is never a playable character size
plus he's a little lower than second, I'd actually say fourth, behind m brain and then the metroids

Ridley is a 25 foot tall space dragon
he may seem playable character size in comparison to samus, but that's because, in her armor, she s at least 8 feet tall.
She is one of the larger (human-oid) characters in the game. She can look at the largest character in the eye (bowser)
so ridley would still be much too big in comparison to a lot of characters

I want Bomberman, Megaman, Rayman and Pacman to be playable characters. The Wii U will support 25GB discs at least so i hope Sakurai strain on this game adding lots of charatcers from the video game universe. I know the Smash Bros is supposed to be a Nintendo charatcers fighter, but i think every character can frame on the game. Sorry for my english, thumbs up if u agree with me
