Sony I can certainly see pulling out of the video game industry if PS4 loses as much money as the PS3 did. After all, their game department seems to be full of idiots, so I would not be totally surprised to see them lose money again. However, Microsoft will probably be fine for quite a while. Not only are they not total morons, but they've got a boatload of money, so even if they did lose as much money as Sony did, they'd be fine. Their only real competitor is Apple, and there's no way Apple can take all of Microsofts business away.

Uh, thats a little harsh there, and very extreme. Your trying to tell me you hate them for making cheap music and apps? I'm pretty sure most people would disagree I myself love OSX, so much sleeker than microsoft. Sadly, not as many games are made for mac, so I use bootcamp to run windows and play my PC games.I wouldnt mind if Nintendo and Microsoft teamed up somehow to try to take down apple, i hate apple they are the scourge of the earth the way they monopolize the music industry with their $.99 and $1.29 it makes me sick, they are the real enemy of everyone they need to be destroyed

You should try out Linux. You can have it look similar without the price tag.Uh, thats a little harsh there, and very extreme. Your trying to tell me you hate them for making cheap music and apps? that means, those who preoredered it, got it in half the price? (londoners are horrible people and funny, I lived in the coast, east Sussex, 40 minutes by train in london or from london. So every Sunday the whole london moved in the area I lived, you couldnt MOVE.. and they loot bazillion of stuff, I remember walking in the shopping center, and the alarms ring every second!! But I also thing that "looting" is a short of tradition there... lol
I lived in the uk, at the time with Blair government (2004-2007)... I also hate ur spiders...

I've actually used it, but it's just not that same as OSX. It's better than windows, so I'd use it, but I'm cool with Mac Plus, while a lot of games don't run on mac, a ton of applications do. Some of which are actually better than what you get on Windows or Linux. You should try out Linux. You can have it look similar without the price tag.
Good luck with that. It's not like it's new to charge for music anyways, people have been doing it since the invention of the Phonograph. You want free music, make it yourself or check out Limewirecheap music????? since when is a dollar for one song cheap? music should be free for the people, bands can make their money off of concerts and merch

They took the price down and aren't honoring the preorders. That's Amazon UK for yaOk I will show u something... http://www.amazon.co...ils_o00_s00_i00
This price, is proving me, that wii U is a minor update of 360.. And Iwata said, they will not loose money from the hardware.. And normally, after the release, Amazon.. ALWAYS reduce the price by 15% and that means, wii U will cost around 169-179 pounds. 20 euro more expensive than xbox360 and ps3.
SO stop calling (a couple of u, hater).. Just call me a short of guy, who dont wish to go back in the current consoles . Because I quited them 4 years ago.

I've only used OSX on my school's computers but from what I can see, there's not too much of a difference. Especially considering how customizable it is you could probably get it to behave exactly the same or better. And as for applications... I don't know. I dualboot Windows and Linux (Ubuntu, used to use Pinguy) but if I didn't, I'd just run them through Wine or Virtual Machine. I don't really like Apple and my experience with trying to get an old Clamshell to run isn't making it much better! xD I think the CD drive died on me, which is annoying because the OS isn't behaving and I can't install from USB so I need to buy a firewire adaptor. Boo.I've actually used it, but it's just not that same as OSX. It's better than windows, so I'd use it, but I'm cool with Mac Plus, while a lot of games don't run on mac, a ton of applications do. I still don't get why people are trying to seperate powerpc from power cpus. The reason the powerpc range became the power range was because motorola and apple pulled out of funding development and IBM were left to go it alone. Yes the Power range are later developments but its the same processor family in real terms. Often the Cell processor is described as powerpc and power based.
The mass produced final dev kit spec stated powerpc architecture which surely can still be a power cpu. Clearly the wii U cpu has to run wii powerpc code and its not fast enough to emulate. Its clear at least one of the cpu cores is going to be configured for wii mode otherwise it won't be able to run wii games. So its likely one core could be 720mhz and perhaps the other 2 are much faster. The 3DS has a arm11 cpu that is compatible with the DS arm chip. It takes a performance hit in 3DS mode because of this because part of the arm chip is configured the same way as the DS arm chip. However with regard the DS gpu the 3DS actually has the mali gpu integrated within its main chip for running DS games.
Couldn't the wii U be configured the same way. One cpu core is wii mode compatible and the original wii gpu is duplicated within the wii u.
It may be in wii mode the whole wii u cpu goes down to 720mhz speed there abouts and it may quadruple in speed in wii U mode.
if apple makes a console they are doomed. They are known for their bad customer service and cheap materials. And if they make a console, is going to be pricy.. They have no good experience or background for it.
I think steam is the one who tries to find a founder and make a netbox (console), because the steam pcs are not selling! Some companies make some steam pc with a gaming OS... Looks like a console, but it includes a modern pc tech.. http://www.tqcast.co...sole-steam-box/
Who ever buy this, is very stupid.. hehehe And if I remember well, valve also had an appointment with Apple.. So basically they search for the right formula.. I tell them, there isnt any.. If they want it exclusively online..

Thats why, they use AMD hardware parts that are for cheap mainstream or mobile systems and sells them 4-5-6x times the original price... yeah.. righ I am misinformed. Maybe you live in the world of "those who tells u what is trend and what is not" bubbles...
And here is my opinion, every company that f#$#$s the customer must and should be punished.. Companies that dont respect customers are, Sony, Ea, Apple and well.. the least growing up...
