Project P-100 is being made by Platinum Games, and is, as far as I can tell, a launch title for the Wii U. I didn't see any thread here, so I thought I'd post about it. It's looking like Viewtiful Joe + Pikmin, but more action oriented.

Thoughts?

Yeah, it looks fun but there's other games that I want more on launch day. Sadly my wallet does not have a pot of gold at the bottom.

Looks pretty great! I just hope Platinum shows a little more love for Nintendo fans and brings us Metal Gear Rising too.. :P

Holy crap that looks amazing. I'll probably get it with my second round of Wii U games (Rayman, Mario, DS2 are going to be my first).

Looks ace, what better to get the best studio making combo beat'em ups to make game and you'll easily be able to upload vids of your combo's.

Could work as a good alternative to Pikmin if the kids want something more masculine/comic book style.

A cluster of heroes form a fist and punch a giant robot. Seems legit. :P

Anyway, this looks to be a solid title I'll look forward to playing. I really enjoyed Viewtiful Joe (directed by Hideki Kamiya who is part of Platinum), and I'm glad that aesthetic is such a part of this game. Pikmin is also great, so all the better.

This looks like a sweet game! I was sort of bummed after e3 when we did hear a ton of third party support but then realized that I don't really want that support for myself but more for the general success of the Wii U - I don't want it for my self mostly becuase a lot of third party game are just chock full of violence and swears - i realized that i much more enjoy the "kid" games that nintendo systems bring like rayman, mario, zelda, pikmin etc. P-100 with its art style and gameplay looks to be a super fun game and has got me pumped for the Wii U

I definently need to see more gameplay and info before I make a decision on getting it. It looks fun though.
