It's 18th November for NA, not 17th. I'm pretty sure anyway, so it would've been 13 days on 5th November.

The countdown I'm using counts down to the 18th at 12:01AM. So on the 17th it would be x amount of hours.
10 DAYS ( or 11 for the people who aren't going to a midnight launch). Almost in the single digits, how far we've come......

Arggghhhh... Too bad I probably won't be getting one right at release. x( If I could, I surely would, but I just bought an iPod touch, and those things are expensive!!!

hehe, I just realized something. Turns out Nov. 18th is also the same day the Gamecube launched 11 years ago. Quite ironic, don't you think?

10 more days until traffic gets backed up for miles everywhere of people picking up their wii u to play asap or to pick up to wrap up for christmas.

Plus the original Wii came out on the 19th, 1 day after the Wii U comes out.
Anyways, 9 days ( or 10 if you're not going to a midnight launch).

Actually, most businesses around here simply tend to close a little early on Sundays. My local GameStop is opening at 9 or 10, then closing at 6.Doubt many places will be open on Sunday, strange day to release.

For pre-orders that will be shipped (Gamestop, Best Buy, Target, etc), do you think they will get mailed out prior to 11/18 or will they not go out in the mail until Monday the 19th? It would be nice if they could get shipped out a few days early so people can start receiving them on Monday.
