Same here in the UK and EU. One consolation at least Japan is getting it eight days after us. LOL.
On a related note it seems like some retailers have broken the street date in the US and some people are picking up their consoles today.

Sweet, only about 18 1/2 hours till I get a Wii U in my hands!! That's from 4:27pm today till about 10:27am tomorrow 
Playing: NSMBU, Batman: Arkham City, Disney Epic Mickey, & Nintendoland. Black console.
Getting: Skylanders Giants for Wii U, White Vita bundle, Gravity Rush, LBP, Uncharted: Golden Abyss,
& Persona 4: Solid Gold Premium Collector's Edition. Gonna be awesome Christmas :-)
