It wasn't that I found it difficult, more just annoying. I had problems with the game reading my movements, which lead to some cheap deaths, especially on bosses. I really did liked the 1 to 1 control in the beginning but by the end of the 30 or so hours it took for me to beat it I started having problems with them. All I was saying was they should scale back to difficulty to compensate for the inaccuracy of the controls. I want to feel like dying was my fault, not like the Wii Remote cheated me out of winning against something. No, he played it properly, and so did I. Anyway, I can see that my post is a bit insulting, sorry for that. As I said, I liked the motion controls, it made the fights more interesting, but I can understand if it wasn't for everybody. It's not your fault if you found it difficult.

All right, yes, I've heard some people having problems with the accuracy. However, the idea of scaling down the difficulty is one that I really dislike and the reason I replied to you in the first place. My own opinion is, if the motion controls don't work - don't use them in games at all. The IR sensor on the other hand actually made fps style games (like Metroid prime) playable on console, so that's something they need to keep in games to come.

By difficulty I mean make the enemies a little bit dumber. They shouldn't be able to react almost as fast as I can, when I have to deal with inacurate controls. Maybe more health could be given to them to offset this and maintain the same difficulty. I have no problems with difficulty, seeing as I beat Catherine with no guide, amd beat Scott Pilgrim VS The World on hard without losing a life (just to name a few). And I'm not sure why you are comparing SS to MP3, but those games are totally different stories. Metroid Prime doesn't use motion controls. It uses the IR sensors which I don't consider motion controls. Plus your point about not using motion controls is why my opinion remains that they should focus on the Game Pad, and not use motion controls. All right, yes, I've heard some people having problems with the accuracy. The problem arises when you are doing any motion quickly. I would often have Link swing from the left when what I wanted him to do was to move the sword so it was positioned to the right, and then swing at an enemy. That was the biggest problem I have with the controls as that issue happened to me many many times. My controls were always spot On perfect, I don't understand how so many people's sucked....... I guess I'm special.

I wouldn't mind if they stuck with the Gamepad only, but I hope they come up with some cool ideas for the touch screen.
Either way, I want a bigger, more vast, far better looking, and far more dramatic Legend of Zelda for Wii U.
-I like the idea of weapon and item leveling, but I want it much more in depth this time.
-I want darker/scarier parts and dungeons to the game. Vibrant happy-go-lucky colors should only be in happy parts of the game.
-The option for faster dialog. The slow word pacing kills me sometimes.
-More things to do off the beaten path. Fishing, racing, games in a tavern, collecting items for your house, etc.
-Deeper interaction with NPCs (like staying over for dinner) and building stronger relationships.
-Build on Ganon's backstory (The Gerudos. The first attempt to steal the triforce and why. The eternal battle between the three)

Ganon steals the triforce to grant his wish of eternal rule over hyrule, and SS was Gannon's background. But otherwise I agree with you. Especially the happy colorIf they do motion controls again, they should try and improve upon it. I hope the Wii U can increase the accuracy of the motion plus controls.

Sure, but I still think it's a really bad idea to make the enemies dumber/easier/whatever. Sorry about the confusing reference to MP, I just wanted to say that the gamepad wouldn't work with an fps, because there you would want the wiimote. So just a way of saying "sure, gamepad instead of motion controls would probably be good, but gamepad instead of wiimote+nunchuk in all games wouldn't be good". But it already seems they are using the old wiimote+nunchuk controls with Pikmin 3 that worked so good, so probably no reason to worry about them ditching good controls for new controls.

Now personally i enjoyed SS, loved the way the motion controllers brought new depth to something as simple as mob killing, there were always little tricks that could make you more efficient and i can definitely see potential in that area, think about it, things like:
Advanced Sword mapping allowing things like parrying and maybe even curved attacks
General advancement of the smoothness and sensitivity of the motion controls to make it feel more natural
More integration of motion controls into certain Puzzle/RPG elements of the game
These things can be made possible with the progressed experience they have and the power the Wii U brings.
Now with that in mind i also love all the things the gamepad could bring to improve gameplay and convenience, now here i actually and oddly would more favor motion controls in a game like Zelda than Metroid because Metroid has more obvious control elements for gameplay that can benefit from the gamepad while with Zelda its mostly convenience, however Zelda itself can still benefit from the gamepad:
Certain puzzle elements can use the gamepad controller
Item swapping
Aiming (optional)
General menu and pouch access.
Now honestly i can even imagine a hybrid of motion and gamepad as far as Zelda goes with motion for combat and gamepad for most other things especially since the wii remote can interact with the gamepad, however if i had to pick i might say a Zelda with improved Motion controls would be more to my liking and even though the Metroid Trilogy played great with motion controls i would leave that to the gamepad, this is mainly because i have actually liked what the motion controls have brought to the franchise and basically the most complaints here seems to be about responsiveness and those kinds of issues which can be fixed.
