EB Expo here in Sydney, Australia. I won some tickets and a VIP pass to play the Wii U at an exclusive event last night.
When you hold ZL the character aims the weapon making a crosshair appear at the center of the screen, I am fairly sure this is the only way to use your firearm and it is also rather accurate.
As for the gamepad responsiveness, I'm not so sure the gampad's overuse was the issue I think it was the fact it was a resistive screen that it wasn't working as well with my finger as opposed to a stylus.
What the heck kind of glitch happend with my last post?
A aim button huh?
Wow. Its funny you say that, as not one video ive seen has shown anyone playing using that aiming method that puts out a crosshair, they all blind fired. and not one preview i have read has mentioned this mechanic.
I know how you feel about resistive touch screens, youve mentikned it about as much as my last post repeated.
Resistive touch screens have no sensitivity issues and are no less sensitive or accurate than capacitive, excusing human error (when calibrating) and loss of calibration.
calibration is EXTREMY important to resistive screens, as they are a referential input technology.
In other words, the computer has no idea where you are pointing until you tell it for the first time. Then it deduces everywhere else you touch using the user inputted points as reference.
If the user fails proper calibration, the real screen and the the computers virtual reference screen will be mal alligned.
Meaning where you are actually touching isnt where the computer thinks you are touching, but say a centimeter low and two to the right.
This also means that anything that distance from the 'shorted' side(s) of the screen wont respond at all, making it difficult or even impossible to interact with objects close to the edge of the screen.
Once properly calibrated, the device is highly accurate for a long time assuming mechanical missalignment doesnt come along.
Ie excessive rough handling or contact with people known as spazoids.
Something the gamepad is sure to come into contact with in spades at those shows.

Well I'm not lying about the aiming if that's what you're implying. This video shows the player aiming which shows the crosshair on the screen:What the heck kind of glitch happend with my last post?

Hah, no, i didnt mean to imply that in the slightest. I was just pondering the complete and absolute incompetence of the gaming media, as you, an unpaid video gamer, found a no brainer mechanic many PAID journalists never found (and yet they whined incessantly about not being able to tell whether shots would hit), I believed you 100%, and have now seen videos with the aim mechanic being used and people living much longer.
Anyways, enemy count has skyrocketed in the new nyc videos.
