This is a game that I am surprised I've yet to play, because I generally love this kind of game. I need to get on this, hopefully with this version.

If you can't get it on 3DS, the PC original is still out there and still free.This is a game that I am surprised I've yet to play, because I generally love this kind of game. I need to get on this, hopefully with this version.

I want to give someone my money, so I think I will try to get the 3DS version.If you can't get it on 3DS, the PC original is still out there and still free.

Yeah, seems weird to release it when you already have this version. If the justification was a cheaper version, might as well have just directed to the free PC one.Already have Cave Story 3D ( the retail version with the upgraded art style, sound track and graphics). So I'm probably not getting this.

I agree, the only plus though is mobility and that is a good plus for me. The again though, there is one on DSi ware. So I am not sure on whether or not I will purchase this.Yeah, seems weird to release it when you already have this version. Retail version has completely overhauled graphics, an additional level, and remixed music.What's the difference between Cave Story on the eShop versus the retail version?
Cave Story on the eShop is just Cave Story+ for the PC, ported with a 3D effect.
There is little difference but price and portability.
