Sonic needs to have a 2d platformer on wii u. I know sonic & sega all-stars racing trans. looks cool and all but they need sonic the hedgehog:hd*.

I would love to see a Sonic game that revolves around the classic Sonic. I think most people want to see lots of other stages in the classic games remade.

I think that Sega should take a break on Sonic for a while, they have released too many bad sonic games this gen and I'd hate to see that continue.

As much as I like the thought of an SA3, it seems most people would rather have a sole Sonic game than one that has many playable characters. Think about what the good recent Sonic games have been: Colors, Generations, and Unleashed (Day stages lol).

All three were Sonic. Only. Of course, people bring up SA and SA2, but for their time, they were well received, especially being on the short-lived but sweet Dreamcast.

I think SEGA should take a break and grow a backbone. They are in this mess because of their fans and are slowly getting out. They have made bad Sonic games before 2006 and should know what will sell if they take their time. As much as people love classic Sonic, it's not the 90's. There will be more 2d and sidecrolling Sonic games, but SEGA needs to take a break and think over the console games.

Once sega systems went out so did sonic IMO.

I remembered Sega considered a Wii U port of Generations if the sales for the PS3 and 360 versions were decent. They ( I think?) were, but nothing was announced. So no Generations port. Though I'd like the games Sega already released on the PSN and XBLA on the Wii U eShop. Like SA2, SA1, Sonic 4, Sonic CD HD, Nights HD, etc.

Sonic is a douche, Sonic is selfish, SONIC IS A SACK FULL OF DOUCHNESS ! ! ! He was great in the 80s because young boys thought he was bad (there I mean cool), but the problem is, the vision of what is cool changed in the last 30 years, and bad is not cool anymore. I can't stand his douche face staring at me like a douche and bragging all the way and saying stuff like "You're too slow" or "Speed is my name". He was cool before, but when they gave him a voice, he became a complete vegeta ! ! ! GAAAAAAAAAAH ! ! ! Why can't they make a cooler game using Sonic characters?

Like Espio the Chameleon. They could totally make some kickass Assassin's Creed like game out of that.

Or Jet the Hawk. They could make a system with different boards having different functions that you toggle on/off while traversing a level.

Or a second Shadow the Hedgehog, that isn't a complete flop.

I agree, but even though Shadow the Hedgehog is not a bad game, I have to say I hate Shadow's attitude too. He looks cool, but he's nothing more than the EMO depressive side of Sonic. (LOL at me still raging)...

But really, why does SEGA screw up their characters so much? I mean, they're always cool looking, but they have a bad attitude. Poor sega characters... Amigo is fine though...

Also Sonic and all stars doesn't count. That's a Sega racing game. Its too bad the marketing team forgot that since you see sonic more than the other characters when it comes to boxart and trailers. We'll probably see Sonic next year, but I have no problem with them waiting one more year for next gen to kick in.
