Miyamoto continues to prove he's out of touch.
I don't know that, I think it's just that he doesn't read the internet's opinions as much as we think he does. I do agree with him - what else can they do to the F-Zero series to make it different? Sure. It would be GORGEOUS to see the game in HD, going fast as GX with perfect framerate, but Nintendo likes to innovate.

The racing could be used in some parts of the story, and primarily be used as a multiplayer asset. I've never really seen F-Zero as exciting beyond multiplayer.
Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

I never played F-Zero, unless you count the thirty seconds that Brawl gives you.
What we do is, if we ever need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
We put the volume up to eleven. One louder.

Looks like poop. No game engine will ever be a match for good art direction.
Retro will destroy this.

I don't see how people would have grown weary of it, it's not like they milk the franchise like they do with Mario."I thought people had grown weary of it" Miyamoto, have you ever listened to the Nintendo fan base?
