I call BS. It won't be Sony or Microsoft. Why would they launch a brand new console NEXT YEAR, when we haven't gotten any trailer or confirmation THIS YEAR about their next gen console.

I'm guessing it's Ouya they're talking about. But that thing isn't something that most likely won't be competing against Wii U/720/PS4.

The fanboy is strong in this one, how do you know that they won't release something that will blow the Wii U the hell away from most gamers like the Wii? I hope the best for the Wii U, but stop being so damn blind.

I'd say it would be neither Microsoft or SONY as the common technique in releasing a new console would be showing it off at E3 then let it marinade in hype and release it the year following.

-3rd party games wont come because of the lack of power on those consoles
-Im pretty sure its Microsoft or Sony(mostly microsoft for various reasons)
-They may make it a special event like the xbox360 on mtv or fully anounce it at e3 2013 and relase close to christmas
-Both of those consoles are confirmed to exist, developers have dev kits of those...

microsoft are the ones that would do e3, and release a new console in July.
sony would do e3 and release it for christmas.

I expect three new consoles this year. Maybe one missing retail by a few months, likely sony because they suck at timing their hardware releases and other simple things which make business sense.
I don't think they'll do tablet controllers, but they'll have smartglass and psv apps respectively, so people have that option if they want it.

Without Sony and Microsoft, we might not have our Wii U like it is today. The graphics may have been still SD, there may have been no online. I think we should think positive about all companies not hate everything that isn't your taste.

I know Sony and Microsoft can copy some stuff, but Nintendo does this too. For example, Nintendo copied AR from Sony and the Pro controller from Xbox.
