"Some players are opening boxed copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops II on PC and finding the second installation disc replaced by a copy of Mass Effect 2. According to the Steam forums, BioWare forums and Reddit, users report that while the disc art shows the Black Ops II logo, it boots up as Mass Effect 2 when inserted into a PC."

"It’s worth noting that players can simply use the serial number included in the packaging to download a full copy of the game, so customers will only be prevented from playing if they're unable to download the files. For now it’s unclear how widespread the problem is, but we’ve reached out to Activision for a comment and will update with any additional info we receive. IGN will also attempt to replicate the problem with PC copies of Black Ops II and will report back with any findings.

In a statement on its official site, BioWare posted the following:"

"Rumor has it that about a thousand customers who purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops II for PC today were also treated to a surprise copy of Mass Effect 2. If you were one of the affected, chances are you thought it was a mistake, but we prefer to think that it was an omen, and when the universe talks, you should listen.
If the universe thinks that you should be playing Mass Effect right now, who are we to argue? In fact, we want to help! The first fifty fans affected by this phenomenon to send us a picture holding their special disc 2 will receive a code for a FREE PC copy of Mass Effect Trilogy.
Remember, in order to qualify, YOU must be in the picture, and disc 2 of your Call of Duty: Black Ops II must be visible. Got it? Then send your photo to community@bioware.com and you could be playing your very own Mass Effect Trilogy in time for the weekend!"

I work in Tesco head office and we recieved loads of calls about this. We were advised to give customers the number for Activision. We phoned it to see how many customers were phoning it. It then told us "you are now 10,124th in the queue, your current wait time is 223 minutes". Lol quite sad that so many people are upset about one map.

They where pressing these out and ran out of ME labels. Then cod bo2 was next in line so some of there labels for put on.
Seen it happen all the time with chip bags. Where the bag isnt cut right or you have an overlay

You do knpw that apple, samsung and the wii u where all made in a falcon plant (i believe thays the name).
So i wouldnt put it pass a mixup like this happening. They probably all use the same plant to make them.
Send there data to them and they press them out.
