8/10.

Key features to differentiate this version from the PS3 and 360 versions:

1. No online pass required to be able to play online
2. Each Tekken character has an outfit from one of Nintendo's franchises (Kazuya dressed as Link, Ling Xiaoyu dressed as Princess Peach, Anna Williams dressed as Zero-suit Samus)
3. Mushroom Battle
4. Tekken Ball
5. You can map moves to four spots on the touch screen

Having played this game myself, I can definitely recommend this to anyone who loves fighting games, as well as people wanting a good game for their Wii U game library. Online is very good, I played 6 matches against three people, and not one match lagged even slightly.

Apparantly, Harada was able to easily find a way around the slighltly lower clock speed of the wii u cpu rather quickly.

Good to know. I've never played Tekken before, and I'm not good at fighters, but I can't resist me some Nintendo cameos.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

So looking forward to this and really glad I pre-ordered it. Seems to be geniunely the best version of the game and those Nintendo themed costumes are hilarious. The use of the touch screen for moves and the fact you can play completely on the gamepad are brilliant features. As for the cpu comment I would of thought this game wasn't too cpu intensive. The dreamcast was incredible for its day for fighting games but was quite weak in cpu terms but had a brilliant powervr gpu with generous memory for the time. Even the playstation and Saturn could do 3D fighters with a lot of moves. I was expecting/hoping this would be good on wii u and very pleased it is.

The use of the touch screen for moves and ... are brilliant features.

I reckon that touchscreen moves were the bane of SSFIV:3D. I hope they are able to disable their use in competitive modes. Although, I don't usually play 3D Fighters. I find in 2D fighters that their application isn't particularly useful beyond trial/challenge type modes. I'm not sure how well or detrimental it would be in a 3D fighter.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

All DLC included, 2 exclusive bonus modes, bonus outfits for every character and exclusive touchpad features only gets it a .5 increase?

Fair point but I'm not that great with fighting games and find this a good feature to make the game accessible quickly and as I get more acquainted with the game I get to know the combo's on the pad to make them happen properly. I don't like steep learning curves in games which some fighting games have had in the past and I think that has worked against them in popularity terms.

In fairness they have made Tekken Tag more casual or approachable on wii u and for me thats a brilliant thing and it doesn't detract anything from hardcore gamers who can still play it their way.

Great to hear seeing as I'm probably getting it as my first game with the basic pack for $340 (which is a bargain due to the basic going for $350 or more in some places and TTT2 going for $80). I would have got ME3 but Hear it's a sloppy port, TTT2 will probably entertain me longer :)

Yup kinda funny as he was the one who publically said there were some issues to get the game to work well with the CPU and yet this port is one of the best, if not the best ones on the WiiU. My brothers been playing it days nonstop and no hiccups so far.
