Just based on the sheer fact that IGN teamed up with the VGAs is a major turn off..as there is guaranteed to be some level of corruption in the awards awarded

not that i would actually stand up for ign, but are you even watching the vga's? cause so far the games awarded have been solid.

The VGA's are well known for being, well, rigged. All the hints are pointing towards the idea that it's for dudebro gamers (as Nollog mentioned), pop culture and... money!

Wow, Xenoblade got shafted. Should have won best Wii game and RPG by far...

Of course the awards are all irrelevant like mentioned above. People only watched it for the reveals. I'm a bit pissed since they pretty much confirmed next gen stuff would be show and they didn't mention anything, not even the Wii U. What were all the reveals? Dark Souls 2 and that's it? I'm super excited for it, but I was expecting more than one game...

Xenoblade should've won RPG of the Year by far. Everyone who reviewed it said it was the beat rpg this generation, and Mass Effect 3 is just a shooter with a level system.

I'm happy there's a Dark Souls 2, but I expected more. I guess it's my fault for thinking the VGAs mean anything.
